Tankers!

A new event called “Players vs Helpers” is about to start!

Twenty-four tankers will face the best team from among the Tanki Online helpers, to find out who’s the strongest. Everyone else will be able to support either the players or the helpers by picking one of two special paints. At the end of the tournament, those who will have picked the winning side will get a bunch of supplies as prize!

Calendar

  • 12th to 15th May: a series of closed battles will be played to determine the strongest 2 teams from among the helpers
  • May 16th at 17:00 UTC: the final battle to determine the strongest helpers team. This match will be streamed live on our esports channel.
  • May 18th at 09:00 UTC: we will start accepting player applications for the tournament via a special form. Participants need to be Second Lieutenants or higher. There are no restrictions on turrets and hulls used.
  • May 19th at 09:00 UTC: applications for the tournament will be closed
  • May 20th: 3 draws will be held to randomly pick 80 players from each of the 3 communities: English, Russian and German
  • May 21st: 8 DM battles will be held in each community, with 10 tankers per battle. The players who finish first in these battles will form the player teams, resulting in 8 players per community.
  • May 22nd at 02:00 UTC: 2 free paints will appear in the game. They will be called “For Players” and “For Helpers”. Adding one of these two paints to your garage automatically makes you a fan of the respective side. If the side you picked wins, you get a prize. Paints will be available to players with a minimum rank of Sergeant. You will only be able to choose one paint.
  • May 23rd at 16:00 UTC: the paints will no longer be available to purchase
  • May 23rd at 17:00 UTC: the Final of The Three will take place, streamed live on our Twitch-channel. The best helpers team will face the 3 player teams — one from each of the 3 communities — one after another
  • May 25th: we will distribute the prizes to the members of the winning teams, as well as the fans of the side that won

Prizes for participants

The members of those teams that win their battles in the finals, will each be rewarded with 50 000 crystals and a Tanki Online T-shirt. This rule applies to all three player teams as well as the helpers team.

So, if after 3 final battles, the players side wins the event with a score of 2:1, the prizes will go to the members of the 2 winning player teams, as well as those of the helpers team, who will have won one battle.

Prizes for fans

If the side you picked, wins the Final of The Three with a score of 2:1, you’ll get a bunch of supplies as a prize. The amount of supplies will depend on your rank:

  • Sergeant to Warrant Officer 5 — 20 of each supply
  • Third Lieutenant to Colonel — 30 of each supply
  • Brigadier to Generalissimo — 40 of each supply

If the side you picked, wins with a score of 3:0, your prize will be doubled.

Rules for players’ qualification battles

  • Kungur, DM, 10 players
  • 1 round, 15 minutes
  • Any turrets and hulls, paints without protections
  • No supplies, no micro-upgrades, with drop boxes
  • From Second Lieutenant

Rules for final battles

  • Kungur, CTF, 8 vs 8
  • 2 rounds, 10 minutes each
  • Any turrets and hulls, paints without protections
  • No supplies, no micro-upgrades, with drop boxes
  • From Second Lieutenant

That’s all for now. Make sure you join the event. Whether you do so as participant or fan is up to you, but get ready for a great time!

How do i join?
