I play seldom format because I like very much the variety of weapons and the existence of supplies. They are creating multiple strategic choices and gameplays.

I play format everytime I participate in training with my clan / clan wars and a couple of times in sanbox.

(Sandbox is boring after many rounds - or too much time - in the row and so I look for a standard Serpuhov or Chernobyl or Kungur etc)

The results of the tournament do not mean anything. It just means that the average helper is better than the average player. Well, duh!

 

The players have completely random team. It is possible that no two of them have every been in the same battle before. They are just a random team like what you would find in any random battle you join. The picking process, which was playing DMs, is vastly different from CTF, which was used in the tournament. I do not think they used audio communication to organize anything either.

 

The helper team has obviously played together before, and they know each other. They have more knowledge. They must have used audio communication during battle unless they were morons, and I seriously doubt that.

 

In short, this tournament does not mean anything. I am glad that the fan rewards don't mean anything either. :P

Supplies are precious in small quantities, if that's what you mean.

 

In regard to Sandbox, well, each one has some favoutite maps, mine are medium to large, like Serpuhov or Kolhoz or Chernobyl, or Kungur. Maps I can run freely :D

There is no bad map, only different tasties.

The Players VS Helpers tournament has ended! The team of Tanki Online helpers won all 3 battles, proving once and for all that their skill at helping the communities is matched by their skill at playing the game they love.

I must say, I don't hand out praise in this game very often, but in this case I think the developers did something Great!

It was easy to submit an application to be part of it, the selection of players was fair, the finals were given airtime on Twitch for all to enjoy, and everyone had a chance to win prizes.

Of course there is always room for improvement, I hope all the players who were selected for the tournament recieved a special reward for being the lucky ones, also the finalists should all get T-shirts for their contributions to the tournament.

It is a great way to promote TankiOnline by having kids around the world wearing T-shirts to school, or anywhere, gets visiblity of the game out to the people you wish to engage.

I would also like to suggest that a possiblity for keeping the games momentum going would be to have the 4 best players from each of the communities of the players teams become the Tanki team in the next tourney against a new set of players selected in the next application selection winners.

Keep up the good work, these are the kind of events Tanki needs.

Yeah...the game was rigged when players were goin to cap the flag..and in return they dropped golds.

Helpers can't drop golds. They are randomly dropped by server. I think it was just a co-incidence. Though I don't agree with 1/7000 chance as often gold boxes have opposed this theory.
