Firebird M3

Most usually Freeze at m0 is compared with M3 Firebird and I have used both of them and I know which one is better and which one is not. IMHO Freeze M0 is better than Firebird M3 because Freeze can do more damage than Firebird while the Firebird is still reloading, or as some people call it refilling.For a little bit of mathematical proof:

 

 

Firebird at M3 Attacks with a damage of 24 DPS for 5 seconds.

 

24 X 5 = 120 Damage in one full fuel refill.

 

 

Freeze at M0 attacks with a damage of 20 DPS for 8.33 seconds.

 

20 X 8.33 = 166.6 Damage in one fuel refill.

Freeze at M1 attacks with a damage of 22 DPS.

 

22 X 8.33 = 183.26 Damage in one fuel refill.

Freeze at M2 attacks with a damage of 26 DPS.

 

26 X 8.33 = 216.58 Damage in one fuel refill.

Freeze at M3 attacks with a damage of 32 DPS.

 

32 X 8.33 = 266.56 Damage in one fuel refill.

 

 

So we can say that Firebird does beat a Freeze at DPS ( Damage per second ) but It cannot beat a freeze once you can survive one fuel refill of the Firebird which is probably 120 HP and with added paints it can get very low.

 

For example, A Freeze on a Mammoth beats a Firebird on a Mammoth, but only when the Freezing effect is used for your advantage, a Freeze can easily destroy a firebird without even getting hit by the flame.

Firebird M3 has more damage per second, than Freeze M0-M1. It inflicts 120 h.p. of damage, which is enough to kill Titan or Dictator and reloads in 10 secs (as opposed to 20 and 17 secs for Freeze M0-M1). So Firebird M3 is much more powerful weapon than Freeze M0-M1, though Freeze is still fun to play.

Freeze m0 have lots of advantage against m3 firebird.When a m3firebird user is moving and your tank is at its back, you can backstab it and it will take time for it to rotate,, by the time it rotates facing you,, its dead.

Looking at the freeze m0 stats, I am pretty sure that freeze m0 only does 16 damage per second.

 

8.33 x 16 = 133.28

 

So, I would say wait until you can get m1 freeze, which actually does 20 dps.

I don't like any of the short range weapons except isida and I'm pretty excited about it because I have 325 crystals at the moment and I am master sergeant and I only need to level up to get isida. :D But anyway I vote freeze better.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I just looked at freeze's stats in the garage, and I believe that you (koolwalky) are right about its damage. So yeah, I would agree that freeze m0 is better, especially after having played with it in its upgraded form.

 

Oh, and for all you people who say you can kill people without taking a hit, that's not the norm. As long as a freeze doesn't attack from the back, I can usually turn both turret and tank and keep up with their circling. If you are aware of your surroundings then freezes will not be able to get to your back and kill you.

I remember that in a 1 to 1 situation that I lost from players with a rank of WO1 and using Viking M0, while I was using Vking M1 and Freeze M1.

Currently I have Freeze M3 and Python so it's clear that don't have a chance right now.

But it is still not funny when a Firebird player gets a kill because the enemy have the Storm paint :cry:

 

But, to be clear, I prefered Freeze M0 above Firebird M3, because of its freezing ability and because it can attack for a much longer time.

Anywho, this is true, but i saw a marshal with m2 firebird m0 hunter. :shock: yet he had a 5.00 ratio!!:shock:
