CREATING STARLADDER THUMBNAILS

 

Some of you may know that I run the Unofficial Commentary for Russian Match Ups "organization" (UCRM) and that I do special thumbnails and score keeping pictures for my videos. This is probably one of the most fun parts of making the videos.

 

Normally when I make thumbnails I put a line right through the middle of the board first, and depending on what two teams are playing I mix it up. For example, if Arcade and All In are going against each other, I would make the border black since Arcade and All In still have the same bottom color and the border would not show that. Arcade's section of the thumbnail would have their colors (white and red stripes.) Since All In is the other team and they represent the colors of the Russian flag, I would put the Russian flag behind their name. The thumbnail would look like this:

 

 

 

 

 

For other teams the border would be more colorful, but this is just an example of the kinds of thumbnails I make. This is how to create one like I do step-by-step on Dell and Acer PCs

 

1. Open the Paint window

2. Use the snipping tool to take images from the Star Ladder website (from each team's page)

3. Put the logo onto the Paint by clicking the "Paste" arrow and going to "Paste from" and clicking on the picture.

4. Add a background design

5. Repeat for the other team.

 

This is the progress you should be making for these steps:

 

 

1. Open the Paint window

2. Completing the border

3. Arcade's side

A. Put in Arcade's logo

B. Put in the lines for the background

C. Using the bucket button, paint the insides of the background

4. All In's side

A. Put in All In's logo

B. Fill in the lines for the background of All In's side

C. Using the bucket button, fill in All In's side with color

 

That is how YOU can make a thumbnail in less than five minutes for a Youtube video for Star Ladder (or any sporting event really) in less than five minutes! Now that you know what to do, the only question left is what to make your thumbnail of? And that's for YOU to decide!

Yeah the logos were copied from the Starladder website but I create the designs on my own.

True but I feel the way I use works better and I haven't downloaded Photoshop because it costs money.

Just because you put a certain age doesn't mean that's how old you are.

 

And if you are so much older than me THEN ACT LIKE IT.

 

And I know you could get more posts easily, half of your posts are spam that nobody gives a crap about anyway...
