New game mode: DM-TDM crossover

I was one of the players who disagree teams on DMs, so let me explain.
 
1.What is the point of making this official in a mode if this mode is already being played by someone who don't want to team.
I want to make teams disappear from DMs basically extinct from DMs, not make them even more effective. Lots of other DM players would agree me.
 
2.If someone teams up, other players have one advantage. Other players will be able to kill more variety of players, so easy to find someone to kill.
If they both get 1 kills, they will be able to get more score per player. This will also force players who want to play alone.
 
3. -%10 doesn't mean much for freeze or twins, but a lot for shaft or railgun.
 
 
4.Disadvantages are good, okay. However, this disadvantages force weaker players to not use this option, but stronger ones will use. Like drugs, this will also be a toy used for stronger players, so someone who gets less but guarentee crystals from DMs will be forced to take a risk and play team games.
 
 
 
 
 
 
There should be more option for who don't want to play with friends, not for team players. Team players already have everythink.
 
 
 
 
But, what about make it for PRO battles?
 
 

If you and your friend team up in DM, I think it's totally fine to do that, and MAFIOZA121 suggested a really good idea for teaming up in DM.
 
The option to team up can be disabled, just so that DM can still be ONLY DM. :)



Edit:

 

Even with this option, playrs will be able to make unofficial teams.

Great idea but why "weapons will deal 10-15% less damage to enemies" ? i don't want my weapon to become

Weaker because of an alliance.

The idea is that being in a team has it's advantages and disadvantages, so that single players don't have to suffer when playing against OP teams.

 

P.S. I forgot to mention - the option can be disabled or enabled when battles are being created, so players, who dislike teams, can enter or create battles with alliances disabled.

DM isn't the most popular game mode in this game and I think that's mostly because it simply isn't interesting enough as at the moment all you have to do is shoot and not get shot.

 

Players often try to make it more interesting for themselves by agreeing to team op with others and play together. However, such a system often annoys other players and causes conflicts in the battle chat.

 

My idea is to add an option to create "Alliances" in DM. There would be a special button for teaming up in DM (you select a player in the list and send them a request to team up). If they accept your request, the two of you will become an official team in that battle, which will change your gameplay in such a way that 

  • Your weapons will deal 10-15% less damage to enemies
  • You won't be able to damage each other
  • If you destroy a tank together with your partner, you will get 30 xp points divided between you two depending on the damage each of you dealt (like in team battles)
  • If the two of you completely kill an enemy tank from full HP, each of you will get a kill.
  • If other players also dealt damage to the tank you were destroying, only the person dealing the final hit will get the kill.

Teams can be from 2 to 4 players and each additional player in the team will reduce the team's gun damage by another 10% and increase total score distributed per kill by 10 points.

 


 

 

Example:

A Firebird, 40hp/s damage teams up with a Twins (15 hp/ball damage) and a Railgun (100 hp/shot damage) in a DM battle. Together they see a Mammoth with 300 hp and destroy him. Since there are three players in the alliance, their gun damage is reduced to 80%, so the Railgun deals 80 damage (one shot), the Twins deals 60 damage (5 shots, 12 damage per shot) and the Firebird deals 160 damage (5 seconds at 32hp/sec). Since there are three of them, the total number of points distributed for the kill is 40. The Firebird gets about 21 points for dealing 53% of the damage; the Railgun gets 11 points and Twins gets the remaining 8. Each player gets a kill added to their kill-count.

 

 

I believe such a system would make DM matches a lot more interesting and tactical, encouraging more players to enter them ,especially if they like to play with friends. This would be great for times when you want to play in a big battle with your friends, but you can't get 10 of them together to play CTF or TDM with all of you in one team, while playing with one friend and 9 random people usually doesn't end well. Instead, you would just enter a DM match and play together in a team against everyone else.

That is a nice idea but the whole point of DM is to play solo against everyone else.So how about an alternative idea: why not create a modified team battle where you can make a customized "Friends Team" VS "Some other person's Friends Team" or  a "Regular Team".You guys are free to adjust my idea as you wish but as long as it is not a DM TEAM. Yes I know about the enable disable option thing but teaming in DM is so not right it is wrong.

Dude I mean a single "Friends Team" VS " Another Friends Team" like the way you play a regular team battle just that you can have a whole team of your friends rather ruining the solo thing I love in the unique DM.

I think this just makes all ideas regarding multiple teams in team battles pointless because you could do it in DM.

There's a difference between 1 big team vs. another big team and a team of 2 vs. 20 players

But that is kinda of ruining the solo thing in DM especially if there are going to be multiple mini-teams in DM.

I never said that my system would replace the current DM. It would just be an alternative for those, who like teams.

Developers wouldn't add an option like this for non-Pro battles.

 

Which means

1.All DMs will be like that.

2.Just some Pro ones...

Well i see why now.. so to balance against not dealing damage to my allies ... i think it's a cool new game mode.

Just a lot many teams.

This mode gives more xp than the normal tdm and the kills are distributed differently plus as you said

More teams not just 2.

Why would the battle fund be low? By that logic, the fund in TDM would be many times less than in DM and it's not. I don't see a problem with everyone being in alliances, but I highly doubt that it will happen as even now teams are uncommon in such games. Also, like I said - being in a team reduced your gun's damage, so not everyone will want to make such a sacrifice.

Moreover with more experience point...

Also when players face lot of teams, they would exit, so DMs will be rarer

 

This should be just and Pro-Battle option.
