Contest [Issue 35] Tanki Online Custom Paint is back!

It's been nearly half a year since the first Tanki Online Custom Paint - but now, it has made a return!

 

How does one upload pictures?

 

You can use Postimage.org, Lightshot, ShareX, Tinypic, Imgur or Photobucket to upload any picture you'd like.

 

How does one obtain TankViewer?

 

Download it from here, if you don't already have it

 

This version should contain the new turrets and paints, plus the XT combination.

 

How do I use TankViewer?

 

Changing the turret - A or S keys

Changing the hull - Z or X keys

Changing the paint - C or V keys

Hiding the turret (leaving just the hull) - T key

Hiding the hull (leaving just the turret) - H key

Rotating your turret - left arrow or right arrow keys

Moving the tank - mouse

Clearing things up

 

- You CANNOT use a picture that you didn't make; you HAVE to be the person responsible for making your paint.

- You CANNOT make reserves - your post must either be discussing the contest, or posting your entry.

- Any player caught reserving will be added to a document, which consists of a list of those who are banned from participating in this contest. They will be able to participate in other, and future contests, however.

- In order to have a valid entry, your entry must have the following three things:

 

- A picture showing the software you have used to edit the picture

- The picture separately

- The paint on a tank combination of your choice

 

If your entry fails to meet any of these, it will be ignored.

What will I be judged on?

 

- The quality of your design

- The design's appearance on a tank

 

Additional information

 

- A contestant may only post one entry

- A contestant is free to edit his entry until after the deadline

- Entries are to be posted here only

- Contestants are free to name their entries as well

- Your entry should consist of ONLY your pictures (plus the name of your paint, if you decided to do so)

 

This contest runs from the 29th of May until the 16th of June.

 

What's up for grabs?

 

1st place - 50,000 crystals

2nd place - 35,000 crystals

3rd place - 20,000 crystals

 

Other worthy entries will receive a smaller consolation prize.

 

One more thing

 

If you're suspicious of an entry being fake, feel free to search it up - if you can prove it's fake, definitely post it on the thread. That person will be disqualified and potentially banned from future contests.

When I made a paint on TankViewer, it doesn't work because of its dimensions. I tried 200 X 200, then it worked.

Thank you for the download link to the new Tankviewer; the only problem I had with the old version was that it was missing my main weapon (Hammer) and the new paints (I actually created my own Nano so I could see how it looked).

 

A lot better now; thanks and best of luck to the contestants (including me :lol:).

*Note: I have two fancy editing softwares; Photoshop and Gimp, but I decided to use IrfanView, that's more or less a viewing software more than an editing software, as I wanted to express simplicity within the paint.

Can we use other images as part of our paint? Not as the whole paint itself, but if I wanted to make a paint with crystals/GoldBoxes on it, I'd have a pretty hard time making some from scratch in MS Paint. Or if I wanted a paint with ranks on it or something, it would be well nigh impossible to make that without using the helpful forum topic with all the rank pics and putting them in my file.

Just asking.
