Best Team Strategy for Silence CTF?

Recommended Posts

Was wondering what your opinions of this are?

RED:

My personal opinion is two people on the raised platform on the right of the base (the one looking into blue base) preferably a thunder/shaft/railgun. Three people on the flag, a heavy hull twins, medium hull isidia and a freeze (any hull)

Then 5 other people to get the enemy flag, a firebird and hornet, rail and hornet, thunder and hunter, rico and hunter, dicator and vulcan and a isidia.

I must be honest i cant be bothered writing one for blue lol, but make sure to include it in the comments

the best strategy would be to work as a team

Hahahaha simple. I like it.

Today I played silence red team (with my new pal Kevred), and a freeze-mammoth-inferno on drugs 75% of the time infiltrated our base with 2 isidas escorting behind him.

Two people on the platform fail, as they hinder each other and aren't able to hide succesfully in case of need. Pointless to say a shaft there would be an easy target for a mid-skilled blue player.

Another good option for defence is rico, it is very useful in case from attack or escape through tunnels. At the same time it can make a good challenge for attacking railers or thunders (who often camp around the red base).

As for the attack, it all depends on the composition of the blue team: no hornet would harm a team of defenders, but it would maybe work great with a team of attackers. A midfielder railgun/thunder is always handy. And in case of heavy defenders, a pair of mammoth twins and freeze supported by valid isidas can do a valid breakthrough job.

you'd be amazed at how uncommon this is.

i know

very uncommon in large maps but if your're playing with your friends in small or medium maps this strategy is quite likely to make your team win

I remember Silence 1 had the ledge with no wall so it was really easy to jump with the flag and capture. Now the teams are more even but I think red has a slight advantage with a pretty easy get away once leaving the blue stronghold

You forgot the Wasp

Hmm i dont feel Wasp is really a good hull in such a small map like Silence, its to fragile and only if your very skilled/drug a lot then i feel it makes a good addition, but thanks for the suggestion guys keep them comming.

If the Wasp is skilled it can do it's job just as well, if not better than, a Hornet on a small-medium map :) .-.
