very nice guys, one of the best updates i've seen despite its minature stature in comparison to the other updates. i LOVE how you guys made even more possible MU's the best one defintely isidia's range. im not a fan of them, in fact i hate then :D but i feel that i can always out pace them so the range update is good for users of them i think, also me if the tank im healing is too fast and i cant fully heal it. very good guys keep up the good work!

Lets sum it up:

New V-Log

- First Tanki took away crystal drops in battles

- Next Tanki takes away daily bonusses for 'special tasks'

Do you really think I am gonna buy more drugs because of this?

NOO: I often do PRO battle

With next update: drop daily bonus for daily "task"

NOO: I will do ONLY Pro battles

Thanx Tanki,

For another bad idea...

Best idea of the year!

It was always a hassle switching turrets when those L-O-N-G timeouts were running. I guess it was recognized that the delays in upgrades were being allowed to run, except for the super-cheap speedups of May Days.

I predict there will now be a SUBSTANTIAL increase in the number and rate of micro-upgrade purchases.

I have set about upgrading my favorite paints, although the best ones are still way too pricey for the protection afforded at their base levels. Buying a paint for 200K and spending another 300K to improve it? That is not a bargain! especially since you normally face a wider selection of enemies than the ones that a paint protects against (usually 3 or 4). I only change paints once a battle, at most.

Allowing equipment to be used while it is undergoing MU is a VERY welcome update. I assume that other players have a preferred hull-turret combination, like I do. I am glad to spend my crystals to upgrade equipment, but I dislike sidelining my favorite equipment while waiting for the MU, or spending crystals to speed up the MU that I would rather spend on a better MU. This is a great, great decision - thanks, developers!

The "speedups" in upgrades were a very severe cost compared to the upgrade itself. I think the devs saw that few people were using them compared to when they were 80% off. Yes, most folks probably have 1, 2, or 3 hulls upgraded to M3/M3+ -- those proven useful -- not 6 or 7.

Needed, especially for Smoky: Reload time. :D

<snip>

OMG, what do you want, an autocannon?? :o Smoky firing once every 1.5 sec is bad enough. Any faster and it is OP.

Next big step: allowing multiple micro-upgrades on the same equipment at the same time.

Hey, if we have the crystals why should it take days to bring every parameter up for a turret???

Is this your last incentive to do speedups??

They didn't change the reload of Smoky. M3 Smoky always fired faster than M2, which fired faster than M1, which fired faster than M0. But there was no option for upgrading that. You could only speed up the reload by buying the next modification, not MU'ing, unlike other turrets. They added the ability to MU reload because that way, someone would truly be able to get base M2 stats on a fully MU'ed M1 Smoky. If they didn't add the reload MU, then the statement "A fully MU'ed M2 weapon will have the base stats as M3" would not be fully true.

Dear Tanki Staff,

I love the changes but I have a few complaints,

1. Smoky shouldn't have so many parameters to upgrade as it reduces the chance of getting m2 free...

2. None of the changes to smoky were ever announced.

3. PUT ALL THE UPGRADES AND PARAMETERS IN THE TANKI WIKI AND GARAGE!!!! The fact that the reload symbol and range symbol aren't added in the smoky menu is very sloppy. If not, then please put them into the wiki as soon as possible.

Overall the update is great, as it allows the true incentive for Microupgrades to be unleashed (Upgrading equipment over along period of time)

Plus, it's fun to own m0 and m1 hulls with smoky m2 ;D Especially on drugs. <3  B) Thanks, -FearTwins

1. That's a good thing, it reduces the chance of a lowly Sergeant having a full M2 Smoky at his level...which as you see is very devastating.

2. A lot of changes developers make aren't announced beforehand. This is nothing new.

3. Tanki Wiki is updated only by a few people, which for a Wiki I find strange. So it will take a lot of time for all of the information to be updated.

i have an idea... why don't you fix the screwups from the past changes you have made. before making new screwups and changes??? Shaft is still messed up from that abortion you called "mouse control update". and before one of you half wit mods answer this post with one of your uneducated, pithy, and dismissive, replies.... One does NOT need to be useing mouse control to have this problem!!!!

BEFORE MAKING NEW CHANGES, FIX THE ONES YOU MESSED UP!!!!

1. This might be an issue and I think another update would fix it. What is someone bought a kit like the mosquito kit and then fully Mu'ed everything, we'd have a m3 :O I know someone is going to do this and it will ruin the game balance :'(

2. Meh

3. This is sloppy of tanki though, they need to put the symbols of the reload and range. As well as the micro upgrades, if they don't it looks extremely sloppy and messy.

No one cares to ask if these Improvements will transfer to Unity and if this massive OP of rank battles dominated by buyers will continue in the future game.

I'd like to know why micro-upgrades cost SO MANY CRYSTALS though... One or two parameters of an M2 hull can cost more than the M3 hull flat-out, and maxing MU's costs a good 3-10 times the cost of the price of the next upgrade (unless my sources are outdated). So why are the prices so high? Just wondering? For M3's it makes sense, but even still it's just pushing it to the point where to compete in the upper ranks you need to MU M3's to the limit... (this is my second account, see my other: swansa)

Its all about money,

Everyone can agree that the advent of MUs was the beginning of the end to balance of the game, but it was the easiest way to create revenue and give buyers the means to dominate all open battles which has resulted in the loss of over 100000 daily users.

Yay, time to see M3 Fires, Ricos, Dicos and Mammoths all before you reach LT Colonel!!!!

The people who can afford to MU that far probably would have fully MU'ed their M2 equipment already. A fully MU'ed M2 used to be just a bit less than a non-MU'ed M3. This new update really doesn't make that big of a difference in regards to the power of each weapon. The changes with the biggest impact (IMO) are the abilities to upgrade all aspects of certain weapons and ability to use equipment while it's upgrading.

They didn't change the reload of Smoky. <snip>

Yeah, but they *added* an M3 micro-upgrade down to around 1.25 seconds (too expensive for its value, IMHO).
