Tanki Developers, You’ve ruined Tanki with your updates, making this game UNPLAYABLE. I don’t want to quit Tanki because I loved this game. But I have no choice. You’ve ruined Tanki!

I ’m not the only one to complain and quit. I haven’t seen most of my game friends for weeks. A lot of people on chat told me they are quitting. A lot of people told me that Tanki isn’t as good as it use to be. It wasn’t uncommon to see over 100,000 playing. I noticed that I don’t see over 100,000 as often. People are quitting by the thousands!

Here are my specific complaints: With the latest updates you have made a few already over powered weapons ever more powerful - the Flame thrower, to name one. I can’t defended myself against fire. Those silly little cap guns (Smokey) can now easily kill me! And the twins are now so over powered they knock me around and kill me, giving me little chance. Players who are two or three or even four ranks below me can now easily kill me!

But the game wasn’t completely  pointless until the developers CASTATRATED my Isida! I can’t hold my beam for long. I can’t shoot up a ramp, but the other tank can shoot me

UNBELIEVABE:

I’m getting killed more, killing less, making far less points for promotion, earning less crystals for micro upgrades with my heavily modified M2 wasp and M2 Isida than I was with my m1 wasp and my m1 Isida!

THIS ISIDA UPDATE WAS THE ONE THAT COMLETLY RUINED TANKI FOR ME, MAKING THE GAME COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE AND FORCING ME TO QUIT!

TANKI DEVELOPERS, YOU HAVE RUINED A ONCE GOOD GAME!

I don’t want to quit. But there’s no point to playing.

A question before I go:  Combat games in Xbox and PS games parameters are not changed. Why do you keep making these “updates” Why don’t you find what works and leave it be?

Heres the thing though, I am not seeing as many isidas as I used to.

which in my opinion is a good thing.

For a while, I was seeing nearly half of opposition using isida sometimes more.

 

All turrets go through an op stage, if they didn't then people would probably keep using whatever their first garage gun was.

It has happened to me before a few times, my once loved richochet had manners put on it.

 

It is annoying when you get into a stride and comfortable with a turret  when it is changed but ...........

 

I do think it is better, I want to see variety of turrets, I want people to switch around and not get into a boring game everyone using same turret.

 

Currently i am using thunder which is op, i never used before and it is fun, enjoying it until next rebalance.

Isida was too easy to use. making it OP, which is why it was nerfed bu making it's aiming less "sticky". As for overpowered guns, which annoy you - you can simply get a protective paint from them to make them less powerful. Good options for you are Spark, Electra and Roger. That's exactly how balance works in this game: OP guns are nerfed when more players start wearing paints with resistance from those guns.

Hmmm.....Isida was OP,so it was nerfed.As Fatal attraction said,Twins,Smokies and Firebirds are OP(Lol im a Twins user),so when are they going to be nerfed?

I’ve read every reply, except for one that
I’ve put on my ignore list. I’ll comment on some, but
first one thing.

I’ve looked at the server graft and I noticed that the entire load
has not exceeded 100,000 for many days. WOW! It looks like
that people have quit in the thousands! I wonder if the owner of
Tanki and the developers have noticed. Do they not keep an eye
on this? And I wonder if the developers read the forums, or have
read this thread.

You’d know how dumb that statement is if you had a decent rank….W1. Many people use the wasp for speed. They heavily mod the armor and have paint protection. The speed makes up for the rest. I suggest you just read the post for now and gain some rank before you post any more silly comments.

Carefree: Your post baffles me. Um, no, most people are NOT happy with the Isida update. Most are mad, like me. The Isi has been castrated, it is no long an effective weapon. I can’t help but wonder if you’re trying to troll.

One last thing before I go.

I’ve notice that many of you mentioned balance. I don’t know of any MMO’s  that continually change the game parameters like Tanki. This make no sense. Why now find what works and not change it.

I just realized at the end of this post that the reason for all of these ‘UPDATES’ is because new weapons, tanks and paint are added. If Tanki did not add anything, then there would be no rebalancing/updates needed…..then….the develops would be out of a job. And then the game would be always in perfect balance

WITHOUT DEVELOPERS TO CHANGE AND MESS THE GAME UP!

Just because one weapon is more commonly used doesn't mean that another weapon must be ultra buffed. That's not balance, but rather a type of blackmail.

 

And may be it's even a scam; a lot of people buy a certain type of weapon. Then, the developers are angry for people not buying crystals, so in order to get money, they buff certain weapons/hulls and nerf the weapons/hulls which are most commonly purchased and used by players. The players then have to get different weapons and hulls in order to play more successfully, but because they can't earn enough crystals, they have to buy them to spend on the buffed weapons and hulls so they aren't so weak in the game against some other players. Pure and utter scam, this is! This isn't to satisfy the players, but to earn more money.

 

Good thing people are starting to understand this. The updates in this game are completely outrageous. Just wait a while and the game along with the company will collapse, as Alternativa Platform is so very reliant on this game of theirs in particular.

This accusation has been made before by many. Problem is that’s there no evidence to support this claim and no way to prove it. But I do think that there is a real possibility that this entire venture may very well might be crooked in that way. As I said before, what other MMO does business like this? Why would Tanki  just not add weapons, tanks, paint…. And save a pile of money by not having all those developers on the payroll? This to my opinion makes you theory plausible.

Tanki could very well be nothing more than a crooked con game, a scam.

Makes me wonder then why I would want to go on playing, even if the developers reversed some of there updates.

I’m now thinking about quitting, no matter what happens. I think and hope after reading this would think about ditching. There are other MMO’s like this, and better games too. Yup, you set me to thinking hard about this.

Splitterpoint: Believe me, I've never been more serious about quitting.
I have played very little for the last two days. With the over powered
weapons and the castration of my Isy, I can't earn.

The problem is that I’m addicted to this game and I'm going threw withdraw,
More or less....I've have quit. Since weapons that were already overpowered

were made more powerful and the castration of my Isy, this game has become

unplayable. It’s just not fun anymore.

I was going to demand that Admin delete my account, but I'm holding on to the
hope that Tanki will come to its senses and give my Isy its balls back and roll

back some of these dumb updates.

I’ll stick around in the forum for a bit, and maybe I'll play a little for few weeks to
see what happens. if nothing, then I'll make a clean break and demand that my

account be deleted.

But I still might have my account deleted, even if they are rolled back. See my

above post in reply to  AntaresXT. I honestly believe that it’s a real possibility

that Tanki is a scam. And I think AntaresXT might right about Tanki dying when

more people catch on.

Why should I stay anyways? Even if the developers do roll back the updates they

will start another round shenanigans latter. And I’m tired of there shenanigans,

of the irritation of these updates.

The players then have to get different weapons and hulls in order to play more successfully, but because they can't earn enough crystals, they have to buy them to spend on the buffed weapons and hulls so they aren't so weak in the game against some other players. Pure and utter scam, this is! This isn't to satisfy the players, but to earn more money(Doesn't seem logical as it is too risky.).

I never said anything about power. I said that Isida was OP as a whole, so it was nerfed by making the aiming difficult. By the way, instead of the aim you got a massive boost to the range of the beam to compensate, so IMHO you have nothing to complain about. Not only that. but the change to Isida's aiming mechanics was supposed to make aiming easier, because now you can hit a tank with just a small section of it sticking out behind a corner, whereas before you had to hit them in the centre.

 peak online will go down to 60k-70k players or lower despite of any updates, as it does every year during summer since this project went live 6 years ago. We always pay attention and there is nothing different in peak online behavior this year whatsoever. Besides, this is not wise to bring in players to this game if you can wait and give them all around better upcoming unity version of the game.

That's exactly how balance works in this game. As Hazel said before - "perfect balance is not fun". Gun and hull characteristics will always be changing over time, so you either have to wait for a new update when your weak gun will be buffed again (like Rico after rebalance) or just buy and use a different gun, which is OP after the balance update. This system will not change, so get used to it.

Really? Isida players are happy with the update? I sure am not. Trying to compensate by increasing range? Pffft.

How will infinite range help you if you can't even get lock on? Rebalance is meant to tweak the parameters to nerf/buff an equipment by 'slight' amount.

Decrease the damage: Sure, manageable.

Make the beam dance so you don't even get a lock on: No. Just no.

Rank first then start ranting about hulls and guns! ... and let me be the one who break it to you,

Out side xp/bp matches wasp is a very very rare hull to find in gissmo ranks you know why?

Because higher ranks are dominated by med hulls not light ones, wasp can't survive except

If it was a part of a raiding team!

 

So good luck with quitting one less wasp won't be noticed on the battlefield  :P  :P  :P  :P
