Better not use mouse controls at all. 

 

Mouse controls may work well for a newbie, but at an advanced level

you don 't stand a chance against the precision and speed of keyboard controls.

 

Yes, keyboard control can be a bit tougher in the beginning,

but it will soon pay off: period.

I tried it and it's not really.. er..the BEST feature in Tanki, you know.

 

It's not like I had've headache, like this cam speed update, but it easily doesn't fit my playing style :P

Okay. I just tried it on my alternative account which has a rank on which 25% of players don't know yet how to turn their turret, and they killed me when I was using mouse controls. I don't dare to use them on my main account. My keyboard works much better.

Mouse controls are painful for the first few battles, but then it gets a lot easier.  When I switched, I was getting killed all the time.  Once I got used to it, great!

I've tried it a few times, and for the most part, I think its junk. I've been playing with keyboard controls for almost a year now, and I find it extremely difficult to try and learn how to master the mouse controls. (And in mastering the mouse controls, I'd probable lose my skill with the keyboard controls.) so my opinion is that it is useless.

Mouse controls are...um...not what I expected. I thought you could use any browser but I guess not, but when I do get a chance it is very bad. I cant believe Tanki put that in their game!

Mouse Controls don't work in the Flash client thingy. Flash Standalone.

Lots of negative feedback on the mouse controls, but please Tanki don't consider deprecating it.

 

Using mouse controls in Tanki is like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time.  First few times you try, it's very uncoordinated. 

 

Secretly, I am glad people aren't using it.  Gives me an edge.
