What is with all this lag recently? 50 FPS 999 PING. Ever since this anti-cheat thing came in I have had lag. its ridiculous.

 

Can you just fix your lag problems first then move onto a failing anti-cheat system.

 

About a year ago I never had one issue with lag, now the only thing in the game is lag. What did you change with your servers since then? They were much better then.

 

I suggest fix this lag, its not just me who has it.

A few years ago (2012 I think) there was a major issue with lag after the anti-cheat was developed. I guess this could be another repeat. Since a lot more players are reporting the lags after the update that "smoothed" the impact force, it would be safe to bet that that's the cause, but I'm no programmer here. There might be too much information to send back and forth, about player location and cheat predictions and things like that, which causes the high ping. I'd stick to smaller battles (8 players at most) for now, there's less chance of high lags there.

Please, those ways dont work, Ive tested all of them,

 

this heavy lag started from when they released the anti-cheat system and is very annoying,

 

Every gold I want to get just pases through me, even in a 1v1, I can get normal boxes easily,

but golds pass through me like Im not even there...

 

And sometimes in the middle of battle the game goes crazy, while my net is very ok. It surely is

a problem on TO's side.

Sometimes, the forum lags too. I mean, I can load heavy websites like The Verge etc. easily side by side with Tanki, but Tanki doesn't load.

my ping and fps was always bad before(live very far from servers) , but still playable, but now :mellow: :mellow: :mellow: , screen freezes occasionally and 'teleporting', tanks moving oddly around me, shooting driving  became harder, how to play xp/bp?

I had the opposite problem...in fact I was accused of hacking because I (a Wasp) had managed to lag on top of the pile of tanks waiting for the gold, and steal it from them. He managed to get all of his friends to /vote for me, but little good that did. Just goes to show that there are many many bad sides to lag, specifically high PING.

this is not due to ping-lags, how can the same problem happen to some ppl from around the world,

in the same time which was they took out yet another main feature of the game (flipping)

and brought a newb self destruct thing.

My ping 400-999 cant play xp battles, i can se only players killing me or everyone running like ligtning lol..

And you could actually parkour or sit on a tank without the constant self-destruction. Apparently "smoother" also means "explodier."

 

Regardless of lags, hackers will always find a way around the anti-cheat, so essentially the innocent players are being limited and punished by this update because of the actions of a few (okay...more than a few) bad apples.

1. cleared cache as advised.

Getting disconnected from server after ~1 min. of playing. Before disconnected severe lags, map & tanks freeze.

Looks like other players can play normally, why I can't? Never cheated or anything, paid real $$ to buy crystals :(

If you only have a high ping issues playing Tanki, you should wait for devs to make an update.
If you have a high ping for everything you do, for instance YouTube, Contact your internet provider.

I was having big issues after last Flashplayer update, reverted to prievious version, lag stopped for a bit, but was having issues with irregular FPS drops, ping spikes and odd tank control, was advised to check if "mouse control button" was checkmarked, sure enough it was.

I use a laptop and touchpad was causing the problems

Un-checked "mouse control button" and problem solved

It is on by default any time you clear your cache :excl:

Now I am having problems with incredible FPS and PING spikes, even with anti-aliasing enabled. It's so bad that sometimes it forces me to restart my entire computer because nothing else will work (it freezes my mouse too). I use Mozilla, but I have a feeling it's due to Flash Player in some way, so in that way I can't wait for the Unity version to get here, because I've had no problems with Unity player.

 

These huge spikes haven't always occurred. It's only a few weeks ago that they started, and lately it's getting a lot worse.

Seriously, I'm getting 40-50 fps with only Dynamic shadows, lightning and shadow under tank ticked. Before the anti cheat system came out, I could play at 60 fps with all graphic settings ticked :/
