The Unofficial Guide for Isida

Is your most-used turret Isida? Well this article can teach you some tips for becoming a professional Isida like me (I think I am a professional Isida )

CTF: Fight or Defend?

Fighting: If you use to fight, you might need drugs because many tankers say Isida can't fight with drugs in deathmatches. You can also follow another tanker, in case he needs healing or if can't handle it all by himself. The hull to use can be Hornet or Hunter. Why these? It's because you got to be fast enough if you've taken the flag and you've got to have enough health to survive as long as your tanker you follow if you're following them. Where and when should you fight? You should fight at small maps. You should fight when you're down 1 or 2 flag captures.

Defending: If you choose to defend, the best strategy is to go around your base, checking if any of your teammates need healing. If an enemy is coming, see if any tanker is going to attack him and you should heal that tanker. Placing mines is a good idea too because healing isn't the only thing you can do. You should defend if enemies keep attacking your base. You should defend at big maps.

TDM: Fight or Defend?

Fighting: Fighting is not a good idea if you're a small hull. Your job is to place mines or heal other tankers if needed. Troll your enemies by having another tanker kill them, then that tanker will get healed, just like the enemy wasted one kill for nothing.  B)

If you looked at the official Newspapers you can find articles that talks about good mining spots for maps. Placing mines is a way how you can actually destroy other tanks.

Defending: Defending is very preferable for Isida + Light Hulls (Wasp/Hornet). See if any tanks are left behind at the base and follow them. Heal them if they're getting attacked or is attacking. Use Double Damage if you have to if you're healing a Titan or Mammoth because after the update, they have increased health.

CP: Fight or Defend?

Fighting: Once again, fighting over for a Control Point isn't a good idea. Isida just isn't made for massive attacking. Lead that to other tanks. Follow them and heal them. Follow them to the control point and you will get points for losing your enemy's control point then capturing it.

Defending: Defending is a much better idea. IF your enemies try to take away your control point, heal your teammate and it'll attack the enemies. If you 1 on 1 against someone, you pretty much don't stand a chance if you have a light hull or if your enemy has a long range.

Deathmatches

As I said before, Isida isn't for deathmatches without drugs. If you're entering a deathmatch battle, make sure you have drugs. You can also have allies. They won't kill you. If you're a light hull use Double Armor. Then, drive around the map, looking for tankers to kill. Be careful if you run into a heavy hull. You might need Double Damage for that. If you're a heavy hull then use Double Damage. Wait for someone that comes near you and attack them. If you're a medium hull, you can wait or attack, just make sure you have drugs. You can use any drug for your advantage.

What Hull to Choose?

Wasp: This is my choice for Isida. You can go around your base, finding and healing your teammates. It's also good if your team somehow keeps taking damage. You can use Double Damage and heal them a teammate then move on with the speedy Wasp. This is definitely NOT a hull to attack.

Hornet: By far the most popular hull to fit with Isida. You can have the advantages that Wasp have, but with more time and less speed. Also, I recently found out that M2 Hornet is about the sane health as M3 Hornet. I found this out by killing both of those modifications. They all die when I use all my ammo. (this might be false, but I have tested it), so M2 or M3 Hornet could be very powerful with Isida. Also, this can be a good deathmatcher, if with proper hornet skills. You can turn your tank around your enemy like a professional freeze.

Hunter: This hull can go great with Isida in deathmatches. It has enough health to survive a long time on a big map, but fast enough to catch up to any tank that has more protection than Hunter.

Viking: This combo is used for attacking in CTF. Take the flag, drop a mine, then use speed boost and done!. It will have enough health to survive a big map flag capture.

Dictator: I've seen a lot of Dictator + Isidas defending the base. I also wouldn't suggest you attack because you're just too slow. A Wasp can just catch up with you, kill you, and return the flag. In CP, you can defend because of its good protection.

Titan: A rarely seen combo but can be good with sitting on the flag  :P. Whenever someone needs healing they'll just come right at you. This is hull is NOT right if you want to attack, but you can spy down who's coming to attack you and you probably would kill them with the good protection.

Mammoth: Same with Titan.

Going against other Turrrets

Smoky: If you have a heavy hull, you'll have no problem defeating it unless he's shooting from a distance. Use a Double Armor and then go after him. If he just goes away from you, then just ignore him. With a light hull, just activate Double Armor and catch up with him. If the Smoky has a heavy hull, use Double Damage.

Twins: You're in trouble if the Twins is far away from you. It's knockback can be a disadvantage for you. If you're a heavy hull it might not be a problem with you. When close up, it shouldn't be a problem if you can circle them. Beware of their knockback still. If they have a heavy hull you should use Double Damage.

Firebird: If you battle a M2 or M3, it has extreme afterburn effects. Unless you're using a heavy hull, you shouldn't attack a Firebird, especially with a heavy hull. As always, you can also have a backup Isida or Freeze behind you, removing the damage from you.

Freeze: Use Speed Boost for better turning speed because if you're going against professionals, they'll circle around you from experience. Using a heavy hull would be great for going agaist a Freeze. As always, you can have a Isida or Firebird behind you, removing all the damage.

Railgun: You're troubled if the Railgun is far away. Even if you try to get him he'll shoot 2 or more times and you'll die before you even get to him. When close up, you shouldn't have a problem beating it, especially if the Railgun missed shots.

Thunder: when using a light hull, you're also troubled. Same with Railgun, Thunder will kill you before you even reach to him. Thunder druggers are the worst nightmares to light hulls in my opinion. With a heavy hull, don't even bother the Thunder. When close up, you can circle around the Thunder.

Isida: If you have more protection then the Isida you're battling, you'll usually win. If you have the same hull, use a drug. If the Isida runs away from you, ignore him.

Ricochet: No problem combating it if you have a heavy hull. For light hulls with Isida, could be a problem if you're combating against a heavy hull with Ricochet.

Shaft: How are you supposed to combat him when you're far away or if you have a light hull? You should sneak up behind him or kill him when he isn't looking. When in close range, the SHaft is pretty much useless.

Hammer: There's literally no way you can combat a Hammer with a light hull unless you can have supplies or if the Hammer ran out of ammo. With a heavy hull, you can kill him with surviving all 3 clips. If he runs away, as always, just ignore him.

Vulcan, Using a light hull can be a advantage this time. You can circle around the Vulcan since its gyroscope affect will allow it to not turn as fast. If you're far away from the Vulcan, you can use Double Armor. Should be no problem with heavy hull either.

And there you have it.  :) Took a long time to write this article.

No its just that Isida isn't good for attacking, that's all.

If draining half of the damage you deal isn't enough for you to sustain yourself enough while attacking, idk how you're using isida...
