How to speed up google chrome

Hey guys.... ;)

Today I will show you how to speed up Google chrome.......

Although chrome is quite a fast browser, sometimes it becomes very slow due to several reasons..... :(

I will show you several ways to tweak Google chrome to it's maximum performance..... :)

 

1. Open chrome and type about:plugins into the address bar and press enter....

2. Disable all the plugins that you don't need..... (don't disable flash, you need it for playing tanki.....) ;)

Note: plugins cannot be uninstalled, only disabled.... but the exception is

plugins that were added when you installed an add-on..... those plugins will be automatically removed when you uninstall the add-on....

 

 

2. Uninstall any extensions that you don't need.....

 

 

2. ^ That will take you to chrome's flag page.......

There will be a warning not to touch these flags, but don't worry....

all of these "tweaks" have been tested and they are OK..... and if you have any bugs or glitches you can reset the changes.... ;)

3. Hit crtl + F so you can find the flags more easily..... ;)

Find "maximum tiles" and change the value to 512.....

What this does is basically increase the amount of RAM that chrome is allowed to use.... (warning: this change is not recommended if you have a slow computer) ;)

5. Find "number of raster threads" and change the value to 4......

What this does is change the rendering speed of images......

6. Find "enable SPDY" and click "enable"

What this does is speed up web page loading by making web transactions quicker......

7. Find "enable experimental canvas" and click "enable"

What this does is allow chrome to utilize opaque canvases which will decrease loading time and boost performance.....

8.

Find "conflicts with 3rd party modules" and click "enable"

What this does is run in the background and check software and warn you if a software that could make chrome crash is found.... (which is very important to us tankers.... we don't want the browser crashing when a gold box drops, right?) ;)

9. Once you have changed the flags, click "relaunch now" at the bottom of the page to make the changes to take place..... :)

 

If you tried all of these tweaks and your chrome is still as slow as a mammoth, there is a strong possibility that a malware or spyware program has infected your chrome browser......

In order to fix this, go to www.google.com/chrome/srt/

and download the Google software remover tool..... (released by Google.Inc)

This tool will clean up your chrome browser from any 3rd party programs that interfere with normal operation..... :)

 

If all of that ^ didn't work, as a last resort, download alwarebytes and scan and remove all of the malware..... ;)

Unlike an antivirus software that will happily let a spyware or malware take over your computer, an anti-malware software will find and remove and block spyware and malware that could take over your computer and infect your browser...... ;)

But the best way to speed up a game in a browser is by playing it a lot and letting the Cookies and data load in.  ;)
