Tanki Offline

The name makes this topic self-explanitory. Many players around the world lag a lot or the game loads very slowly. This Tanki Offline will be a secondary game which if you are experiencing a lot of lags or cannot connect to internet well, you can play against CPU. Explain your thoughts about this here.

Tanki is an MMO. It means that it is an online multilayer game. If you are offline, how do you expect other tanks to come? It will be just you roaming about alone in different maps.

This is an idea by the devs a long time ago, although I hope it could be done. Because it would be fun in it's own way.

The devs might have this update when unity comes out (Some Time This Year)

It is not on the development plans anymore, but it was, so there is a chance of this happening.

CPU's get boring after awhile...rekt over and over again... :P

CPUS in wot is fun, just I don't think tanki has enough money to make a really good cpu.

Cpu's work best on console game, brining it into a mmo game would be really hard to do, you can have cpus in wot because it is a client, which means it is installed on your computer and cpus are already installed on your computer.

So tanki having a cpu would mean you would have to download tons of stuff, which is a problem because I like tanki because you don't have to keep updating it self.

It would defeat the primary concept of the game. Rather than wasting time and money taking the game in a whole new direction that it shouldn't even be going, investments ought to be made to make the game run more smoothly... but wait, that's already happened, and is happening. Now it comes down to what you do on your end to ensure you have few lags. Things such as: turning off your graphics settings, volume from the in-game settings, using Standalone Flash, having a stable internet connection, clearing your cache, etc.

Hello

I am going to discuss that some weapons in tanki are way more overpowered than they should be for example isidas range is so big and they gain life so fast I mean trying to face them they will kill you quite fast. Another turret is the firebird m2 is actually stronger than freeze m3 in dmg and burn time i know it is suppose to be a strong weapon but defeating a freeze while it is m3 with some micro upgrade the is a bit overpowered and so is the burning time.

IDEAS

I love tanki with all my heart cause this game has helped me enjoy my day but seing its not that popullar means that a lot of old famous maps are dissapered like iran and more. I was thinking to try and make the game more intresting my doesn't tanki add a offline mode with bots or something for they can train i mean a lot of games have offline mode why not tanki?

I know the rules says you are not allowed to have bots but having offline mode will do a lot of things and people with bad internet can enjoy the game more and practise. For example i told my brother to try out the game he liked it a bit but the things he didn't like is too much grinding and most of all offline mode. If it can be possible please add offline mode it will help a lot to other people.

Thanks

I like the offline mode, but that means TO needs to provide a downloadable client. Which probably wouldn't happen in this current version.

No comment on the weapon stats at the moment. Maybe later.

I have the same situation, but it shouldnt be there :D

All op weapons for wasp m1

Smoky's Critical (blew me up in 1 single shot)

Shaft No Sniping mode (Killed me with no scope when i was half hp)

Hammer (Give this bastard Double Damage- Hammers team has won the match: 1 shot to hornet or m1 wasp(3 players in short time and Double               damage is more than 30 secs so ALOT OF TANKS IS BLOWING UP!) )

Twins : Unable to fight against it when Double damage.

Say you REALLY love Tanki, much like I do, but sadly you can't play because you don't have internet connection because your wifi went out? Maybe you're at a friend's who doesn't have wifi to begin with? Maybe you're riding on a bus and need something to do?

Well, my idea is to make an offline option for Tanki where you can create a battle, and choose how many AI tanks will be in that battle, their skill level being either Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert. Their hulls, paints and turrets will automatically be randomized, and the higher the AI skill level, the more crystals you get! It would help a lot of tankers get crystals fast when they're offline. It would also be a great way for new tankers to test their skills, practice, or just blow up every tank in sight!

On the flips side, your online supplies, Daily missions and things like that will not be synched. You'll have your tank, but that's it. BUT you'll have the same amount of supplies and same missions, but for offline. Say you use your five double damages in offline mode, they'll still be there in online mode and vice versa. But, if you buy supplies, you'll get them for both off and online so you won't have to pay twice.

Also, say you have a friend come over to hang out and you both want to play together, but against AI players, there will be a local option to synch your offline game to one or more other players and you can play together. I know that last bit may be hard to code, but I'm sure it can be done. I'm also sure EVERYBODY would love to be able to play this great game even without an internet connection. I know I would love to!
