Tanki Offline

Say you REALLY love Tanki, much like I do, but sadly you can't play because you don't have internet connection because your wifi went out? Maybe you're at a friend's who doesn't have wifi to begin with? Maybe you're riding on a bus and need something to do?

Well, my idea is to make an offline option for Tanki where you can create a battle, and choose how many AI tanks will be in that battle, their skill level being either Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert. Their hulls, paints and turrets will automatically be randomized, and the higher the AI skill level, the more crystals you get! It would help a lot of tankers get crystals fast when they're offline. It would also be a great way for new tankers to test their skills, practice, or just blow up every tank in sight!

On the flips side, your online supplies, Daily missions and things like that will not be synched. You'll have your tank, but that's it. BUT you'll have the same amount of supplies and same missions, but for offline. Say you use your five double damages in offline mode, they'll still be there in online mode and vice versa. But, if you buy supplies, you'll get them for both off and online so you won't have to pay twice.

Also, say you have a friend come over to hang out and you both want to play together, but against AI players, there will be a local option to synch your offline game to one or more other players and you can play together. I know that last bit may be hard to code, but I'm sure it can be done. I'm also sure EVERYBODY would love to be able to play this great game even without an internet connection. I know I would love to!

Awesome... would love a game without lags.

I'd love no mults. Boss idea.

On a side note we need to have an XP/BP option  :D

Even Thunders can't do anything when it lags, splash damage won't do anything against LAAAAAAAAG

(I'm a pro thunder k gonna get M4 I have M3 it's so B0$$)

For those who have no internet can't play this great game, but what about an offline mode that won't affect your online account at all if you have one?

The'll never ever grant a reasonable amount of crystals for playing in an offline client.. this would be a "all doors open" invitation for manipulation (bots, hacks, cheat enginge works, ..).

A training mode would make sense.

They obviously wouldn't earn any game currency for playing offline. But it could be a decent alternative at times when you can't get online for whatever reason.

There should be single player mode where you complete missions against the computer like capture the enemy teams flag before they get yours and then the more missions you do, it gradually gets harder and harder. Also if you do the single player missions mode let there be up to three friends you can play with in the single player missions. there should also be a practice mode where you fire at targets and test weapons.

Thx,

The name makes this topic self-explanitory. Many players around the world lag a lot or the game loads very slowly. This Tanki Offline will be a secondary game which if you are experiencing a lot of lags or cannot connect to internet well, you can play against CPU. Explain your thoughts about this here.

My fault when i say offline, i mean you can still be online but you play the cpu's but its more like co op

Tanki is an MMO. It means that it is an online multilayer game. If you are offline, how do you expect other tanks to come? It will be just you roaming about alone in different maps.

i mean more like co - op instead of offline

I am also thinking that when matches are over, if the teams are uneven, the computer should auto-balance the teams. and after a game, the computer should mix up the teams.
