Valid Tanki Offline

The name of this game is so called "Tanki Online".

 

But creating a clone of this game called "Tanki Offline" is something which I would agree only if players play against their friends only. In Tanki Offline, matchmaking battles would not exist, but instead bring back the old standard battles, from the last 3 years ago where players can create their own free pro battles to only play against their offline friends.

Not necessarily. AI/Machine Learning is a field that is growing exponentially since it was first introduced. Now in video games, AIs behave extremely similarly to humans now after they observe human players.

 

However, considering the skill level of our developers, they will probably make the CPUs really trashy, at that point, this offline mode will just be you in a tank having to fend off waves and waves of CPU tanks.

Machine learning is incredibly computationaly expensive, so you probably don't want to have it for the sake of not crashing on the computationaly inferior phone. Also, it would need support from the phone os, which isn't at all guaranteed

Phones are getting more and more powerful, and some phones have more computational power than some computers.

They would know every move I make before I even think about it. That would make me the noob and them far more superior. I would RAGE quit. Besides that, they would telecommunicate between themselves....they don't have to stop playing to type out a message or make battle plans. They would have a whole new battle plan made out before I could finish respawning. "HELP!! Any Cyborgs within the sound of my voice??"

That's actually not how it works, although I see where you were trying to go with this. The AI won't be directly learning from you, so it won't exactly be the perfect "counter" to you. The AI will learn the basics of the game, and there will be set difficulties for how it reflects a noob's choices, an average player's choices, and a pro's choices, and it will be way too hard to make sure the machine is able to adjust to everyone's playing style. 

 

Have you ever played Call of Duty Multiplayer with bots? These offline tanks are sort of like the bots. They are just there to try seeming human.

DotA is Defence of the Ancients. DotA 2 is a sequel. Essentially, it's a team of 5 players, each with a Hero. The object is to destroy the other team's structure called the Ancients (think of it like a castle of sorts) while defending their own. That's it in a nutshell.

Why not just add a campaign mode? IMHO I think it'd be better than an offline mode.

When you don't have internet connection you can still enjoy your beloved game by playing an offline "singleplayer mode". Well sure you would say this is tanki "online" not offline game but some online games have a "singleplayer mode" so why not this one. In singleplayer mode you would play against bot's tanks. Same like when you play the tutorial. Since this is a completely different game mode, it wont be connected to the real game, which means you wouldn't play with your equipment that you have in online mode, you wouldn't play with your experience, in offline mode you start playing from beginning with totally different exp. And crystals that you earn will only be available in offline mode, they wont be added to your real account. So this game mode will be separated like test server. You play against bots, you earn exp, crystals, you level up but nothing goes to your main acc. Everything else is the same, you can create battles, make bots to join your battle, do everything you wish.

Offline Tanki for when theres no wifi/signal especially for mobile TO

 

I think it would be a great idea, especially as of recently ive noticed how much fun itd be as ive been flying a lot this summer and have my laptop infront of me wishing i could play tanki whilst not having any signal/wifi.

 

This would have to be entirely seperate from the online version to prevent cheating which is definitely a possibility and would be fun for all and maintain a relationship with tanki and decrease the length of time people spend away from tanki.

 

This could be as simple as M0 everything unlocked with no ranking system in a map. This would prove to be much fun especially when otherwise tanki online wouldnt even be open due to the no wifi/mobile signal . :)

Tanki Offline, but what if you could also create format battles(xpbp and stuff) and even picking dificulty
