Idea and Suggestions Mods

Ok tanki always needs more staff, and a lot of staff is used to read and go though ideas and suggestion's, from tankers who post there ideas in the topic "Ideas and Suggesttions" http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=214823

 

So why not have idea and suggestion mods?

 

 

Rules for application

 

1# You must have over 500 post

 

2# Age 14 Or Older

 

3# Rank Major and over

 

 

Also regular mods and forum chat mods could also have this as a side job like, they would also have the ability to do this

 

 

 

As before, comment, like, dislike and always give input to improve this topic...

Tanki can't just add anyone to the staff, they have to show they are able to take on such a responsibility. 

Yes, of course but it would be easier to get in.

 

But yes you still have to fill out an app and be interviewed

Moderating this section is part of the forum moderators' responsibilities. At the moment it's mostly me reading through all new ideas and managing them, with some input from MarineMan, iCareFree and Archangel. At the moment we have enough people doing it and there is no need for a whole new group of moderators to be added. If you still want to help us - you can do so by quoting rules, referencing duplicate topics and explaining why certain ideas can't be added to the game. In fact, I would really appreciate your help and it speeds up my work.

Yet again, administration can't have someone who's 16 years old and has 2 posts, they need to show they want to be a moderator by getting involved with the community. By looking at someone who has 2 posts and someone with 300, it immediately shows how the player with 300 posts is more active and eager to help out. Being a moderator is a big responsibility and administration need players who can take that responsibility on. However, it's not just about post count, it's about helping other players, creating useful, innovative topics that inspire and help others, having a good knowledge of how the game works and showing that knowledge in Q and A and Problems and Solutions.

True guys, but I think a lot of ideas never get read through, not saying anything about the mods, they do a great job.

 

 

 

Also you guys always talk about karma, now I know lots of people who don't get into a staff position because of one time they where banned for flooding and insults, theses tankers I knew would have made great mods, but you guys are overly strict
about giving people another chance.

 

 

 

Even the police give people a chance to become a police man, even if you had a bit of a record. I understand you guys are great at what you do, but I think you are a bit to choosey over a Free MMO game?

 

 

 

I am not saying let every body be a mod, that would be crazy, I am saying just give them a better chance of being one and with my idea good tankers could be in a staff position, without all of the strict karma rules.

 

 

Also I think you mods miss a lot of stuff on the chat/game I see fly hackers and people using vulgarity's and they never get banned, I just think your stretched out to far, I know you'll say no, but that's my observation.

 

So by letting this idea though you could, let some experience forum users look though the ideas and let the other/real mods do the more important stuff like bans and checking to see if everyone is being treated ok

We're not the ones responsible for "giving people a better chance" to be a mod. Also, we are not the ones responsible for violations in the chat and game. If you want to suggest a change in application rules, you'll have to PM the admins directly, although I'm pretty sure that their guidelines for sorting applications have been formed from experience and they know exactly what kind of people they are looking for. Either way, myself and iCarefree have no power in making any changes to the application process.

Well the forum not as much, but the chat mods need tons of more staff, because it really is bad lately.

I agree. But like I said - you're saying it in the wrong place. Most chat mods don't go on the forum often.

Most of what we do is basically exactly what you want the I&S mods to do and it takes a lot of effort, knowledge and experience.

I never said it takes, less skill or less work. I said that you guys could do the more serious work like bans, because it is more serious work bans, not harder work then I&S mods but it is more, serious..

 

You will need to hire very experienced players on forum and ones who have posted  and made topics in I&S. For I&S Mods...
