T.O's Birthday Festivities 

 

Tanki Online turned 6 on June 4th which called for a fun celebration. With that being said, Tanki prepared some promotions which included: The Game, discounts on hulls, turrets and paints, along with double battle funds and an increase in gold boxes. In this article, I’ll be sharing with you how the holidays went for me and also what I did.

 

 

The Game

 

For those who don’t know, the game was a five day quest where you needed to solve puzzles and test your wits in a contest that determined who deserves the title of the "Smartest Tanker in TO." I’ll be going through a little summary and how I got the answer of each day of the game.

 

Day 1: This of course was the first video, and in that video Semyon mentioned the map Polygon. When you entered the map, underneath the bridge was a secret room, and in the secret room was a picture from the Photo shop contest. When you go to the topic you’ll have found a link on the word “game”. That lead you to a picture containing Hunter M0 and up top, the “Recruit” emblem with beneath it a turret missing which in the case was Smoky. I went to Smoky’s wiki page and “M0” was linked to a picture with the KFC icon. When I searched the man on the image up, I found that his name was “Colonel” Sanders, thus the answer was Colonel. It took me a short amount time to finish it as the clues and hints were easy but it was still fun doing it.

 

Day 2: I watched the video and found a QR code. When I scanned it, it lead to a page which had been protected by a password. Semyon had talked about the WartHog’s other name which was Thunderbolt. When I entered the word into the site which gave us a pixelated picture. I took the image and searched it up, it appeared to have been a picture from the game called Wolfenstein 3D. This was when the next clue became obvious. I went to the map Wolfenstein and found a Players VS Helpers picture. I checked the video and I found a link that lead me to a picture. In that picture were the words that had one letter highlighted in the word. I took the highlighted words and got this: “VcZsrhVzsrch”. It was also a Goo.gl image so when I entered the link in the format: “goo.gl/VcZsrch”, I got to a topic which had the word game linked. After clicking it and got to a picture of the draw taking place. There was a word hidden up top, so I went back to the Players VS Helpers draw video and found the word “Randomizer 3000” was placed in the section of the hidden word therefore, Randomizer 3000 was my answer.

 

Day 3: I watched the video and found the keyword (Steyr). In the description of the video I found this strange word "Fi ri Kiar Rwnokw". I found out that the word was telling me to go to the map Lost Temple. When searching the map, I found a picture with the date 16.12.2014, when I checked out the battle list thread which was on the 16th of December the word “game” was linked to a picture. The picture was a sniping view of shaft with the percentage of 14% in the middle. I went to my garage and saw that the paint Python has 14% protection against Shaft. Python’s description lead me to a password protected page. I entered the word “Steyr” and it lead me to a picture of Spock. Spock is half-human and Vulcan, therefore the answer was Vulcan.

 

Day 4: In the video Semyon mentioned five seas. The initials made the word Barda. I checked the map out and found a big maze leading to a clue of the V-log number per community. I saw that the English side was V-log number 30. I went to the video and found another link to a video. In that video I saw a binary code. After decoding it, I found out that the answer is “2042”. Thus, 2042 was the answer! 

 

Day 5: The last video for the game Semyon said it’ll test our knowledge on tanks. He also mentioned that I had to do the quiz, that lead to the next step. After finishing the quiz, I got the coordinates, when upon entering them, I found that it’s near Gubakha. I checked the map and found a flying wall with the wiki Icon. On the wiki’s first page the word "game" was linked and found that it’s a picture with a Viking, therefore the answer was Viking.

 

Conclusion of the game 

 

As I entered the last days answer, I see that I've answered the previous day's answers right. The Game had finished and I finished with a score of 45 meaning I got a total of 100 supplies of each. It was really fun, stay tuned for the next quest!

Discount On Turrets- Thunder

 

I've had been waiting decades (not really) listening to tankers continuously brag about Thunder, so I went ahead and got it. I am more of an XP player at the moment, so I didn't feel the need for it but at the same time, I wanted to use something outside of XP, so I thought "yeah, why not?" As I am writing, I currently have M2 Thunder waiting to be upgraded to M3.  My first few battles with Thunder were nothing but pure awesomeness, I basically took out anyone in my way. I don't think I'll regret buying Thunder!

 

Discount On Hulls- Viking

 

Before the May Day sales, I wanted to spend my crystals on Viking, as in my opinion it was the best medium hull.  As May Day, and since I knew that I was already buying Thunder M3, I knew it was a great match with my Viking alongside. On the day of the sale I didn't have to think of my last-minute decision. I quickly bought the hull and went to test it out. I must say, Viking with Thunder is pretty amazing especially with drugs and at M4. The first 3 battles went with me finishing first and I'd say to myself, "best M3 combo yet!" No regrets with this one.

 

Discount On Paints- Atom

 

With the paint Electra sitting in my garage collecting dust for 4 months, I knew it was time to spend the rest of my cash on a better paint. What first came to mind was Spark, only because of its appearance, but I needed to consider the protection too. So what came to mind first was the paint Atom.  I bought the paint and love it. By all means, Atom is a nice paint with good protection and its something that won't be collecting dust soon.

The Overall Thought

 

The festivities were amazing. One of the best birthday festivities I've seen with Tanki. I bought at least one item in each of the sales, and broke my score for the game. This is one celebration to be remembered. I'll also take this as my birthday present from Tanki. But what about you? Your thoughts? Feel free to comment below on how the festivities went for you. I remember when many players were  unhappy about how they hold this festivities and i was like well it's better than nothing and what else can you ask for!?! but anyway good times :3 oh and The Game was one of the best i mean is one of the best tanki competitions it's very enjoyable to solve the answers :3
