Remove Room Chat from Team Games

Recommended Posts

This function has been probably there since beginning of the game, so we can't say this rule

Ideas regarding changes to the actual Tanki Online to its previous versions, or ideas regarding the removal of updates are not accepted.

:)

Anyway, What is the point of talking with "opponent team" in team battles?

I've found 2 point:

1. This is a great way of swearing, insulting, cursing. Also, this is a very good way of calling someone "noob" or "drugger" or something like that. Eh! Maybe this is a good tactic for annoying and disturbing the opponent team.

2.Very more great way for revealing allied positions to opponents. You can mult or try to push your allies, this is not related to the chat. But also, you can tell your friends positions to opponent, especially ıf you know a different language than others know.

3.Good way to pressing TAB unnecessarily.

My suggestion is

Remove room Chat from team games, just allow chatting with allies.

Also, another related topic

Just.....please listen to us. in question answer we already tells you what the chat is for and we told you to not create a new topic about that. These chats are the best to find new friends. Sometimes i play with my friend but we are on opposing team and i like to chat with him. 1vs1ctf need that and as well for clan training

No no no no no no.

No.

Even if there aren't team chat battles, players can still swear insult etc but the message will just be shown to more players. The idea of the team chat room is so you can talk to your team mates without the enemies knowing your plan. Everyone loved this idea when it came out and it's greatly improved the game. I just don't see why removing the team chat will stop people swearing at team members when they can do so anyway in the chat to everyone.

Yes, a point which I couldn't see. But, is this really that important compared to its harms?

There are more reasons to insult opponent.

I really adore you kayitsiz, u are a very kind fella but I don't accept this idea.

What if our friend is on the enemy team? What if we want to ask if gold drop as sometimes our team members don't reply. What if we want to tell an enemy member that one of our team member is banned if he is trying to ask him something? What if we want to advertise our youtube channel (not on tanki chat because sometimes player flood).

Room chat is sometimes very useful, players should not become lazy and start reporting them if they swear or break the rules.

Look, yes, these are great! But they are not even compared to possible sabotage way of this.

They give every campers position.

Yep, I might make a topic to fix that. :)

Which might stop players to push allie members.

Definitely not. Swearing and insults are a minority of messages in the chat, while most players use it to communicate. Depriving thousands of players from this privilege just because a few people swear in chat is complete nonsense. It's like completely removing Isida because one person made a hack for it or removing private battles because a few people use then for power leveling. Like I said in another post - even if the removal of something completely solves a problem (like swearing in chat), it doesn't mean that such an action will benefit the project.

There are 2 problems, and chatting with opponent usually harm the game., as losing time.

And still what about revealing positions. Every team game has mults(every!), and every of them can reveal a shafters, or a vulcan player's position.

position? you can easily find someone when he is firing. Talking with friends in enemy team is also important

Thunders, even sometimes shafters...

Sometimes I enter enemy base without anyone notice, but of course my teammates see where I am.

Why not just go to settings and turn chat off?

Have you all really (really) read all of the topic?
