Windows vs. Apple

 Share

Recommended Posts

An apple is better than windows but windows is also better than apple.

Understand what I said? It means that the apple company is better than the windows company BUT the windows company is better than the apple company...

Lol, I think you guys still don't understand what I mean... I mean that windows is better, since we can download many types of apps on it, and even games too! For some users windows also lags less for them...

And what do I mean by "apple is better"? Generally, there is an app on apple known as "Apple's Boot Camp"... Because of this app we can change our apple computer/laptop to a windows! I mean that we can change our apple features to windows features!

More can be read here.

Anyways, if our apple computer changes to windows wouldn't windows and apple both be a tie?

No! Thats because apple computers look better than windows computers. So if we change our apple computer to a windows computer then just think that we have a windows computer which looks very cool!

This is why "An apple is better than windows but windows is also better than apple."  ;)

I cannot tell you how Windows 10 will be so I can't vote yet

What I can tell you is that I'm a Microsoft fan boy so Windows all the way!

I didn't even bother to vote - this poll is misleading by its own self. How can you compare Windows, an operating system, with Apple, a company?

Well there I must disagree with you, even though apple OS is unix based it actually has its own special kernel (the thing that sends commands to the hardware) and shell. If you download the apple app store on windows you can even download the Dmg or maybe iso in your case, allowing you to make a bootable thumb drive from it. So yes it is a valid os used by roughly 10% of Americas population.

I realize that you were just using a play on words because Microsoft has a different name for their os. But Apple company and Apple OS are one and the same.

What's "Apple OS" supposed to be? It's iOS.

I believe iOS refers to the Apple mobile operating system on phone and tablets (iphone and ipad) if you want to give the desktop operating system a description the best you could do is OS X. But I don't think that this term is descriptive enough because windows is also coming out with OS X (windows 10). hence I used apple to describe the operating system......

A childish poll and question.

Windows 7 is so bad on 256 MB RAM, which "apple" doesn't have any problems, which GNU/Linux doesn't have any problems. Oh wait. You mean 1GB RAM ? You mean software not hardware ? Then go learn how to ask a question or ask for a discussion before asking. You are not even qualified to ask.

I will pretend to be noob and ask you a similar question : VAX/Alpha/Itanium OpenVMS vs Windows ?

That implies : Go research before asking.

Well, I didn't understand your point, but I'm not an Apple expert so you may be right :) I like being picky :P

No problem I love to debate because it makes me question my own beliefs! Thank you for the practice! :) Picky is good, picky is the only way things are done correctly! :D

I did see that I accidentally put apple under the phone portion of the poll so I will change it to iOS! (lol)

Such harsh criticism my friend. I can tell that this is supposed to be written in an angry voice but quite honestly I don't understand what you are trying to say. I don't claim to be an expert when it comes to computers, they are just a hobby for me....

To put the survey in terms that your deep and vast intellect can understand, I built this with the intention that everybody be able to understand it. If I made it so difficult that not even I could understand it what good would that do.... This was supposed to be for fun nothing more!

As for qualification who are you to say that I am not qualified to ask questions? This a game not software development company define qualification!!!

Every time i see a thread X vs Y without clarifying the corresponding use cases, it just pisses me off. What is the OP trying to do ? Does the OP want to test the reader's guessing skills ?

If you don't specify use cases, everyone can take it differently, making the poll useless. In my case, all OSes win and a pointless poll.

Next time, you need to state clearly "for fun" in the poll, then it will attract "for fun" answers, best illustrated by canadarules. I will let my dog vote for fun too.

So when you saw that there was a "X vs Y" poll did you enter with the intent of helping me or did you just want to vent behind the anonymity of the internet? If the latter is the case your attitude towards life than must make for a very miserable existence and I don't anyone will be able to help you. I think don't think that it was worded so poorly that people couldn't understand, at least 65 people have given it a whirl with no complaint.

I too like all the operating systems! except ubuntu because they can be very sneaky when it comes to where you info goes. Which linux flavor do you like?

I farted in the Apple store and everyone got pissed, Not my fault they don't have any Windows...

saw that somewhere.

Hahahah that is a good one!!!! have you seen this one?

With the recent problems being encountered by Windows users all across the country, people are begin to ask themselves if windows is a virus. In response to the high demand for an answer to that question a study was done and concluded the following.

1. Viruses replicate quickly.

Windows does this.

2. Viruses use up valuable system resources, slowing down the system as they do so.

Windows does this.

3. Viruses will, from time to time, trash your hard disk.

Windows does this.

4. Viruses are usually carried, unkown to the user, along with valuable programs and systems.

Windows does that too.

5. Viruses will occasionally make the user suspect their system is too slow (see 2) and the user will buy new hardware.

Same with Windows, yet again.

Maybe Windows really is a virus.

Nope! There is a difference!

Viruses are well supported by their authors, are frequently updated, and tend to become more sophisticated as they mature. So there! Windows is not a virus.
