AltController! Make finding our hacked accounts easier!

What happens when someone hacks our account? We have to mail help.tankionline and answer some questions which sometimes confuse us and takes a long to finish! And sometimes the reply is that we can't get our account back. :(

 

It's all fixed! Only if the developers create AltController! (I might make a website of it)

 

 

What is AltController: AltController is a type of device, it will make our account fully secure. People will also get to know which main account our alt (lower or 2nd account) belongs to. :)

 

Example: My alt is DamnGass, golden5648_rocks and some more. If I have AltController on then on my DamnGass accounts profile it will come that it is an alt of Golden5648.

However on my golden5648 profile it will also come that it is DamnGass's alt.

 

 

How can AltController get to know which main account our (or mine) alt belongs to?

 

There will be an option on the settings which will be "Send Alt-Mail". If we click on this button then there will come some questions.

 

These will be the questions: (Just think that I am on my golden5648's account)

 

Q1. Your Alt/s name/s? 

Q2. The password of your Alt/s?

Q3. Your email password?

 

Example of my answers...

 

A1. Damgass, golden5648_rocks

A2. •••••••••• (I can't tell!)

A3. •••••••••• (Secret :P)

 

Only if all the information such as the passwords and the Alt names are correct then a mail will be sent to my Alts...

 

The mail would be like this: "Player Golden5648 has sent a mail to you regarding you as his alt."

 

P.S: The mail won't be PMed on the forums, it would be sent directly to the game just like all the V-LOG news and more are sent.

 

How can AltController help us if any of our accounts get hacked?

 

This is easy! Simply open the non-hacked account (I would have opened DamnGass) and go to the settings and click on a option called, "Change Alt Password".

 

After this some questions would come like this...

 

Q1. Which Alts Password do you want to change?

Q2. Your email username? 

Q3. Your email password?

Q4. New Password.

Q5. Confirm Password.

 

Examples of my answers...

 

A1. Golden5648

A2. Blahbalshsf@gmail.com

A3. ••••••••••8

A4. AmbiniGogggo (I would never change to this)

A5. AmbiniGogggo

 

After this our password would be changed! (The hacker won't know the new password which will make him lose our account)

 

What if the hacker hacks all of our accounts?

 

Simply follow the old trick, email to help.tankionline and get your main account back if you are lucky. After this just use the AltController trick. (Refer to How can AltController help us if any of our accounts get hacked?)

 

 

Advantages of AltController:

 

1. People on the forums will get to know us easier.

2. Getting our hacked accounts back would be easy.

3. Hackers would start to give up.

 

Special warnings: 

 

1. All of your Alts passwords should be different including your E-Mail password. 

2. Never share your Passwords. (Of course) 

 

Other Advantage of AltController which I haven't told you guys about:

 

1. If we don't want that on the forums people get to know which accounts our Alt belongs to then on the settings we may have a chance to hide our Alts. 

 

 

Question of the day: If AltController is created then can there be an option that we share our crystals to our other Alts?

Hmm. What if the one whom regretably manages to hack one of your alternative accounts, gets the message that it belongs to a much better and higher ranked account, hacks that as well? Such to happen is almost impossible as ACTUALLY hacking is not an easy task. 'Hackers' in TO are referred as fraud(s) or scammers trying to attract players whom are unaware of the dangers of scams. Gullible players loose their accounts by 'hackers' that way. The 'hacker' was just a fraud.

 

We can make our accounts more secure ourselves by following less-complex and easy task(s). Link your main account to a valid primary email that you use. That way if the 'hacker' even secures his way in, would not be able to change the password and in such way the loss will be minimum. You can even recover the loss you faced by writing to help@tankionline.com if you wish.

Sometimes it takes a lot of days for their reply and sometimes the answer is we can't get our account back.

Many people are also lazy for this.

I believe that all of us know why tech support replies late sometimes - the number of emails(of different cases) they receive. However so, the player whom looses his accout would struggle hard to get it back. One doesn't simply get lazy on such an occasion.

Hazel-Rah or some other dev should see this idea and implement it in unity version because now they won't do it as they told that after some update they will start focusing on unity version.
