The camera speed should be an optional setting so people who dont like it can turn it off and people who do can turn it on.

I personally like the new camera speed but I also know that others don't like it and that among some of those who do not like it, there are complaints of motion sickness and disorientation. Perhaps everyone would be happy if the developers either added a new option so that individual tankers could either turn the camera speedup on or off or a added a slider to adjust the the camera speed.

Ok tanki i think you have your answer the majority of tanki hates this knew update so get ride of it and put the old way of camera movment back  ;).  And while your at puting thing back to there original state  i would request you bring back crystal boxes Because  taking  them away solved NOTHING AT ALL ther are still mults and noobs rueing battles. And cry boxes made the game much more interesting and fun and i LONG for the good old days to come again  :(

I have a sick feeling that they're going to keep this update, probably for one of several reasons:

 

"we worked very hard on this update and we're not going to remove it just because a few people say so!" or

 

"based on [REDACTED] data we have, players seem to overwhelmingly approve of the change!" (noting that number of players on forum is a tiny fraction of total playerbase)

 

Or simply "Ideas regarding changes to the actual Tanki Online to its previous versions, or ideas regarding the removal of updates are not accepted"

 and that's that.

 

We've been down this path many times, I known it since 2011. Tanki can be a very very stubborn business when it wants something a certain way, regardless of player opinions.
