Yup you are right. But since we are being old players we would get some additional goodies like drugs or few crystals to start with as promised by Semyon.

Nope, you heard wrong, I remember they were saying everything in your garage will stay the same, your rank and items will be as it is. However you can play tanki on unity if you want, and if you wish to play on existing version you can do that too.

Easy to fix, do this:

 

Go into a battle and click control+shift+k (Windows), command+shift+k (Mac)

Copy and paste this into the text field: vars.set cam_vspeed 0.5

Hit enter then click control+shift+k (Windows), command+shift+k (Mac) again and there you go, enjoy!!!

This only adjusts the vertical speed, not the whole issue of this update.

Ok can someone explain why the server load is going down day by day. It was around 90k max few months before. now its wandering around 50 to 60k players and decreasing

What makes you think that he meant everything will be reset, Ranks, scores and garage items. let's just not guess, I believe the developers won't make such decisions. AS semyon said "let's stick with what we know", we will see what happen, just stay tuned :)

Agreed but if do such a thing this would be their biggest and final mistake they will loose a lot of players and i mean a lot of us ;)

Yes...they close topics to prevent us from speculating, yet think it is okay to assume what the developers might mean. Unless of course he was in the room with developers as they planned everything, which I doubt.

 

Though I'd like to think they would allow us to transfer all of our garage items and statistics as promised, what scares me is how far they're willing to go against players' wishes just for the sake of "moving forward."

Tanki will tell you it is because it is summer. However many of us believe it is more likely because many players are just completely fed up with the people running this game. A series of bad updates combined with the problem of mults and the looming possibility that we will not be able to transfer our full accounts over to the unity version are enough to make many players find other, less problematic games to play. Maybe when they learn to listen to what their players are telling them, the players may return.

Lets actually look at the numbers in this topic. These are based off of the EN community only. These are the number at the point of this posting and may change as time goes on.

• 900 players took the time to vote on this topic.
• 785 players voted no or down
• 115 players voted yes or up (many of these are staff and mods)
• So 87.2 % of the players said no or downvoted
• only 12.8 % of the players said yes or upvoted

So why is this update or experiment still in the game? This is exactly why many players claim that Tanki does not listen to their players.

If this was an experiment why didn't they use a poll to find out if players wanted to keep it or not?  One can only speculate that this was never an experiment and they never had any plans of removing it.  What I find really funny is that this "update" was first discussed 2 years and 2 months ago and yet they still got it wrong. LOL

Much as it pains me to admit, I am glad the developers are going to allow us the option of keeping the new camera speed, or changing it back. Why, because it would not be fair to those 115 players to remove it completely. But it is fair to everyone to let us choose what camera speed we want.  It would have been a completely different story if they simply kept the new camera speed and ignored criticisms as they often do. So on that, I think the developers actually made a smart choice this time.

Remember those 12.8% are staff, mods and trollers. And thats just people that are on forum
