teaming up in death matches

can someone clarify something. I regularly play poygon DM in russion server 2. When I go into the battle I notice large numbers of tanks not firing on each other. Sometimes its a collection of hammers or thunders - on other occasions it they are random tanks or tanks with the same paint. I have been playing the game for some time. I'm pretty good -  ussually win or finish second - so I am not imagining this or being paranoid. So it this against the rules? Can you team up in death matches - because it seems like this is the "norm" for players in russian server 2 poygon death match.

I have asked about this before but there is was no official admin response. I'd really appreciate this so I know where I stand in regards to the developers. For me (a single player in no team) it is taking much of the enjoyment out of the game. Particularly as these are pro games - which I am paying for in order to avoid having to deal with people who drug continously in order to gaiin an unfair advantage. I would like to know if the tanki admin actually feel that this also unacceptable - particularly in pro games. I really don't care if you thikn that it is difficult to police - i understand this point But I wuld first like to establish whether it is against the rules or not.

Certainly, sabotage is not allowed in the game, moreover against the rules of the game.

2.1.5. Any acts or omissions aimed at creating obstructions for the team where the User is a member, including in CTF, TDM and CP modes, fighting against the team of which you are a member, doing harm to/ destruction of an ally’s tank, fighting in interests of the opponent’s team, as well as the conspiracy with the enemy, sabotage;

There is no rule against teaming up in DM, I believe. As there are no teams, one cannot really sabotage, and joining forces with another tanker does not appear to be prohibited.

In plain Death Match (DM) you can cooperate with other players.

In Deathmatch mode, unlike in team battle modes, everything depends on you. The battle fund grows a lot faster than in CTFs and TDMs, as you don’t need to go to a certain position to find enemies; they are everywhere. On most maps, you can open fire right from your spawn point. Deathmatch is the simplest and most reliable battle mode when it comes to earning crystals. The battle can be limited by either time or number of kills (frags). Each frag gives exactly 10 points.

Deathmatch is the only battle mode where you are allowed to form alliances with other players. In other battle modes, doing so may result in a punishment of a fine of up to 10% of your Garage.

Many players team up with each other in a DM, normally by asking in the chat or being friends. Such tankers team up together and play on as they would by avoiding to hit their 'teammates'. It's common in TO Death matches.

The point of death match is playing solo is true, but since TDM mode isn't too popular, players team up in a much popular DM mode.

No action has been taken on such a matter before or yet. It's a common trend in TO.

Yes , it is in wiki, under game modes

As to the game "rules", notice DM is not included in that list of game modes of where "sabotage/conspiracy " is not allowed.

^ this and in DM it can't be sabotage, we can't take any action in DM matches, if it was in CTF,CP or TDM and your team mate don't kill the enemies tank and they don't kill him either, then it would be sabotage and it's punishable. In DM you can team up too if you want :)
