It is not exactly known.. read this:

 

When the Unity version of Tanki comes out (which won't be happening this year) there will be some changes to the following. Maps: The most popular maps will be reconstructed, though a majority will be scraped and replaced with new maps. Using Unity with maps will be an exciting journey, the developers could potentially add water and night maps! Looks: The textures of the maps and tanks will change. Ranks: The ranks will (as far as I am aware) shall remain the same, currently they are identical to official military ranks. Crystals: The form of currency and distribution of it will remain the same. Tanks (Turrets and Hulls): The tanks will be reworked as far as appearance is concerned, though I do believe their physics will remain the same. The tanks will of course still be recognizable to their predecessors. I hope this has been helpful to everyone.

The developers said that it will be released this year, however this seems unlikely. I don't want to give any false information, so for now let's just say that the release date of Unity TO is unknown.
