Choosing Over Accounts

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello tankers. I have three accounts in TO -

  1. (main)
  2. @LordZenith (flagship)
  3. @ZenithStorm

On the 1st one, I have eight M1s (I am non-buyer) namely Shaft, Ricochet, Smoky, Freeze, Hornet, Wasp, Viking and Titan. I am planning to buy Freeze M2 at WO5, followed by M2s of Ricochet, Hornet, Viking, Titan and later on Smoky M2. I may not buy Shaft and Wasp M2.

On the 2nd one, I have only Firebird M1, but I am saving up for Isida M1, Wasp M1, Hornet M1 and Railgun M1 at their respective ranks.

On the 3rd one, I am going to emphasize on Hunter, Mammoth, Thunder, Hammer and perhaps Vulcan.

Can you guys suggest me which account has the most potential to be a fast crystal-gainer and which account to be with for majority of the time? Thanks.  :)

Crystal gain can not accurate be measured by the kinds of weapons you have. As long as you use the correct modification, you should be able to produce currency as fast as you normally would.

That said, I think you should probably focus on only a few turrets/hulls at a time in order to save up the cash for other modifications.

Because of this, long term you may have more luck with 2 or 3. If are able to obtain an M2 Freeze, Rico, Hornet and Viking on your main account, however, you should be good to go (Smoky is not nessasry if you already have Rico, but I prefer it. Both do almost the same job.).

For the 2nd one, I would not advise buying both Wasp and Hornet. Having 2 light hulls as your only hulls is arbitraty, unless you simply plan to use the Hornet for XP and use Wasp the rest of the time. (MUing Wasp is definately worth it. I have an entire WO3 account devoted to Smoky/Wasp. It rekts face.). If this is not the case, I would try investing in either Viking or Hunter for use in defence and shorter maps in exchange for one of the two light hulls.

3 would work exceptionally well, as Hunter works for everything and Thunder is an insanely good gun against the massive amounts of light-hulls in the lower ranks. Getting Hunter/Thunder at WO4 would last you easily by itself into the M2 ranks. I would honestly say not to get Mammoth for anything serious other than a stepping stone to Hunter. (Although, at M2, you are better with Titan.).

Just remember to make whatever you do fun! Even if its not the most 'efficient' way to play, it could be really fun! (Twins/Wasp :P)

It mostly depends on how suited the combo that you choose is for the map, and what kind of maps you play.

Small-mid range maps, like Noise, Polygon, and Silence, usually have bigger battle funds, play them whenever you can if you want to earn big crystals. Choose a weapon that is well suited for the map and that the enemy team doesn't have a lot of protection against. For example, if you go to Polygon, the best performing guns are usually Thunder, Hammer, Isida, Firebird, Smoky, and Ricochet. Don't choose Thunder if 5 players on the other team are using Emerald, or don't try Firebird if several players on the enemy team are using Inferno. Choose wisely, and you may have to change a couple times if the enemies grab paints with more protection against your gun. ;)

Also though, if you're not a buyer as you say, don't get too many different guns on the same account. It's easy to save up for 5 M1's, but when you have to save up for 5 M3's, that's totally different. Don't get too many guns that you'll never want to get M3, doing so would be a waste of crystals. I made the mistake of buying several M2 guns that I didn't like. I have probably around 300,000 wasted crystals sunk into M2's that I never liked and never should have bought.

Play short on your weaknesses, and play long on your opponent's weaknesses. :)

As said above - crystal gain depends not on the equipment, but on the map. All equipment is fairly balanced and should be equally useful for gaining XP to get you to the top of the leader board and generate the highest reward. As for the maps - the fund grows faster when there are more kills per minute on the map, so a small, open map with a lot of players (such as Polygon CP) tends to generate more crystals than other maps (such as Serpuhov CTF).

From what info you have provided, your main account  has the best equipment and allows a bigger choice of weapons to adapt to whatever battle you are in, meaning that you should find it easier to earn crystals. Besides, higher ranks means that fund grows quicker, so you will definitely be getting more crystals on higher ranks.
