Ah, well. Thnx god the writer took his medicine to be in his prime again to make this movie XD

We'll have to wait until the box office comes in. If they have make enough or a lot.

Well, luckily this movie didn't touch R1 and R2. I am kinda glad they remade the series into 3 movies and continue it as a sequel.

Hahaha, i am glad too.

Well, the movie remake ver has new scene/ dialogue and alter some parts. Dunno if thats a good thing.

I don't think Steins Gate can be described as 'funny'. It has humour, yea, but it's not exactly meant to have a comical overtone. As for the plot, it's not confusing at all. Ignore all the time loops in between. Those were just failed attempts to save you-know-who. There's basically two timelines, A and B. Timeline B is created when time machine is invented and that's a bad world. The goal is to come back to timeline A. Edited by beaku

I just finished watching Darling In The Franxx :')

Amazing futuristic themed series that takes place in a dystopia with huge plot twists, definitely recommend it.

Did you really like the way it ended? I feel that it peaked around episode 18-19ish and then the last arc just wasn't upto the mark.

Well, i kinda didn't like it after episode 13 - 15

And manga is still ongoing at the time of the anime airing and didn't have the source materials to end the series

It is not comical. If you take away the WW3 setting and the Sarah O'Connor syndrome, the everyday life events of the characters have some funny sides which I remember better than the characters dying, but not dying, yes but dead again, but no...

There is time line A and B and all the other timeline he had experienced trying to prevent WW III. When A is alive and when B is alive and A & B and the war is not there, and  ... each time he jumps there is a new time line - it never ends.

So, all he wants his to go back to timeline A or the Stein gate? Is the stein gate also in the time line A? Or the goal is the stein gate only so both girls are alive and WW III do not happens?

His goal changed so many time. The story will be twisted and rewrote so many time it will have no sens.

Well, I think this quote from a Reddit post perfectly sums up how I felt about the ending.

Spoiler Alert for anyone who's considering to watch it

While it happens often, stopping all progression of the whole klaxxosaur plot line and having them sidelined by a new enemy that had 0 set up and appeared out of nowhere, only to change the course of the show and send the characters to space is a massive space mech war, which eventually concludes in Zero Two becoming a giant robot to beat these aliens that still are just "free will = bad and we are evil" is a BIT much for a few episodes.

Basically, the entire course of the story shifted in one episode with no setup so people who had been on board to watch the Darling in the Franxx of episodes prior were left confused. Of course, it's okay for you to still enjoy it, but the extremely unsatisfying and sudden shift is very jarring to a lot of people

Of course I still think the anime was absolutely amazing, and not gonna lie the last few episodes still left me really, really, sad, but the final seconds were a bit happy. From the point where I realized Zero Two's consciousness was still in space, I pretty much got bad vibes for the rest of the series. It's nice that they reincarnated, but still sad that they were not able to get back in time for anyone who was waiting for them..

Would love to see a Season 2 from this, but tbh, it would be pretty hard to do that considering all the random flash-forwards and the way it ended with the reincarnation, would be nothing to do with the original plot/characters unless it was a prequel.

I am aware though that all of this happened because of a lot of production issues regarding the Anime vs the Manga, it's unfortunate that the anime wasn't able to become what it could have been, but I still enjoyed watching it.

GG

Food war manga ended.

The last chapter was gr8

Kinda rushed tho, it could have gone longer if the manga hadn't been axed. The ending made me go 'That's it?'

Ya, it was kinda rushed.

But what else could they explored.

I think they might end up doing side stories.

Nope, no announces for it.

One Punch Man season 2 is great so far

I prefer S1 over S2.

And the manga is better atm :p

Develop Erina's mom character more, the relationship between Erina and Souma, more about Saiba etc. Maybe even follow them into their career paths

Hmm, i would like to see that

I like go deeper in souma vs his father. Which i like to have a rematch of.

But then again. Souma is already at the top.

Unless the author, didnt want to continue in and want to start on another manga. I mean its been 7 years of making this.
