Ideas to Improve CP Games

Since I've started to play, I have noticed problems about CP battles.

 

1. Extremely unnecessary scores...

 

Taking a point from start to end score gives as same as taking and capturing a flag!  :blink:  :blink:

Is this really that big job? All of the important work is done by killers, and someone takes the point and gets that big score?  :wacko:

As a result, players are on a throng. 

Also, this limits tactics. Players who kills 50-55 players gets less score than players who kills 30 players, but captures point.

 

Capturing a point should give 15 point, just like killing a player.

 

2. One-Point CP and Many-Point CP

 

No one plays Many-Point CP(almost) because poeple like CTF as a fun and enjoying mode, who doesn't want to be a team or frustrated by team games plays DM, that's it! TDM is easily trolled, so pretty rare. Players think that CP is just about crystals, no skill or technique..  :unsure:

 

Let's add on more CP to one-point CP maps!  :) Every CP map will have at least 2 points, so players will start to play Many-Point CP games. They will be familiar to this mode, so this mode will be more common.

 

3. Spawn-Related Points

 

When you take some points, you team will be able to spawn near to these points. This is very good for strategy and gameplay, but sometimes this makes taking this point impossible.

Some points which are too easily defended shouldn't be spawn-related points.

 

4. The New Update

 

Developers will add a new update, which will make losing teams score growing faster on CP battles.

So, games will be more exciting and competitive.

 

But, there is a problem.  :unsure:  Many-point CP games are already like they say!  ^_^

You can rarely get all points, ıf the opponent gets too strong, they can takeover easily.

 

If they also add this update, Many-Point CP games will be too much unreliable, players won't prefer these battles anymore.

 

Also, there is another technical problem. Fro example your team got 3 point, the opponent got 4 points.

Your team will start to lose, so your score will grow faster and reachs the opponents score! 

Your 3 point gives the same score with the opponents 4 point!  :mellow:

 

 

This update should be less effective for Many-Point CP games.

Is this about XP given when capturing the point or the new coming update?

 

The XP given it fine. Actually about 1 year ago double the XP was given but that encouraged power levelling.  IMO the XP given is fine, and if you go for the point there is more chance of dyeing.

1.this is one of the biggest problems in POLY CP..players think that it's more important to kill then to go on point..take away points for capturing "point A",and you'll get TDM,no one will mind about the point it self..also,if points are taken many times from both sides,scores for cap/neutralising point are way lower then on start of the battle..plus..you think it isn't hard to take point?..LOL..real CP PRO battles on RU2 (recentlly) together with RU1 and RU2 are mostly played against teams..RU and UKR mostly..some of them (most of them to be more accurate) use mults..so do you really think it is easy?..I belong to one team,well,we can say EN team,(big part of us is active on EN forum) which is only one competitive against  TOP RU teams (no offence to the other EN teams,although they are rare)..if you don't beleive me,get some friends,we can play private battle (we never,I repeat,NEVER use mults in opp team).so you can test your "isn't hard to take point" theory :)

 

2.multi point CP games are not even close as fun and engaging as those maps with one point are (poly,arena,garder..)..trust me..when all of ur resources need to be focused on 1 point,game is intense and dynamic much more then on multi points (writing from my own expirience :) )

 

3.don't really have opinion on this,because,as I said above,there's no real thrill like in "1 point map"

 

4.real raiders and real teams will not attend multi-point maps (here I speak for m4 teams connected with voice systems),at least,on those which will be made to play till anything less then 500,just because of that fact you mentioned,points will be increasing fast,so no real fund can be made on such maps..those maps,made to 300 points or less (that's my personal estimate,made on knowing RU raid teams)will be much safer to play for solo players..
