I have a couple of questions.

Why don't you earn crystals? It seems like half the point of a multiplier pass would be to increase crystal accumulation. Does the pass ONLY impact experience? What does that mean for battle funds and leader boards... I don't think I have ever seen a top scorer NOT get top crystals???

What is meant by "the pass does not give an advantage in team battles"? Are we restricted to team battles in order to multiply experience?

Maybe related to the above... How do the mechanics of the pass work? Is the increase awarded after battle funds are distributed or as play happens during battles?

This information will help me decide whether to buy a pass.

Score multiplier pass does not affect your score in team battles with regards to other players.

For example say you have the 100% pass. If you score 500 in CTF then your XP earned towards ranking is really 1000. The score is not doubled in terms of team score, so, whether you have a pass or not won't affect your place in the battle.

If you play DM you get XP but XP has nothing to do with your place in battle since the placement is based on kills. Any XP earned in DM is doubled as well.

Thus, having the multiplier pass really has no effect on how many crystals you earn - it simply allows you to rank faster.

The best application for this is using Isida and DD to heal team mates. You can rank through earning XP rather quickly this way because of the score bonus you get from healing team mates. Or, use a turret that allows you to damage multiple players such as Thunder or Firebird.

The SMP ONLY increases your EXP increment, the green bar at the top. That's it, it has nothing to do with your crystals, you just spend crystals to get the SMP.

What they meant by "does not give an advantage in team battles" is that your SCORE on the scoreboard is not multiplied. It stays the same.

To understand this, you must first understand what the SCORE on the scoreboard indicates.

Normal Circumstances:

If you have a score of 1000, that means you gained 1000 EXP from that battle, each complete kill gives you 10 EXP, or score.

Bought 50% SMP:

If you have a score of 1000, that means you gained 1000×150%= 1500 EXP from that battle, each complete kill will now give you 15 EXP, but the SCORE will still increase by 10 per kill.

If you picture this correctly, you can conclude that the SCORE on the scoreboard is the total EXP you have received, before including any extra bonuses.

So if your SCORE is 500, but you have a 100% SMP, your EXP received is 500×2 = 1000 EXP.

It is important to keep in mind that your team ranking is based on your SCORE, not EXP, that's why SMPs don't increase your distribution of battle fund.

As mentioned by the guy above, the ranking in DM is determined by no. of kills.

He's asking why we don't earn double the crystals with the pass, which I would also like to be added, but this would obviously destroy the economoy as from one 60 minute poly cp battle, scoring first would get you 2k crystals, which multiplied with 100% equals to 4k which would mean there would be no point in buying.

Stated in last paragraph actually,

"It is important to keep in mind that your team ranking is based on your SCORE, not EXP, that's why SMPs don't increase your distribution of battle fund."

And if SMP is given the ability to multiply battle fund reward, then all the players with SMP would be at the top of the scoreboard.

Imagine one player captured 7 flags, the other 4 flags. If the 4 flags capturer has a 100% SMP, then it would be unfair to the first guy who worked harder for the team :)

if you rank too fast,

say, if you earn crystal about 2000 crystal per day.

you rank at normal speed takes 30 days, means you earned 2000x30 = 60,000 crystal during that rank,

if you have 100% score pass, you rank at faster speed, in like say, only 15 days.

then, you earned 2000 x 15 = 30,000 crystal druing that rank.

-------------------- to make the example extreme.

you rank from recruit to generalismo takes 400 days. you earn crystal till the point of generalismo rank, 400 x 2k = 800k crystal

if you use 100% score pass, taking 200 days, you earn crystal till the point of generalismo rank, 200 x 2k = 400k crystal.

you rank fast, but when you meet other generalismo, they have 800k crystal spending on top m3 and paint and microupgrades a lot.

while you only have enough to get a combo of m3.

which making you weak for you at same rank. comparing those who ranking at normal speed.

I don't like it so I choose not to use it. :(

I prefer ranking very slowly :) More crystals for buying things, as well as developing skills.

100% True. But if you are a buyer, then equipment wise, it shouldn't be a problem.

There are also sales and discounts to be taken into consideration.

Also it simply isn't possible to actually win all the time - there are days when I get stuck on losing teams the entire time I play.

And, if you have the crystals but not the rank then sales don't do a bit of good.

Losing sucks because I get less crystals per XP. I suspect raiders are becoming more rampant with mults and TO does very little about them.

Don't worry about the 2nd part, getting a nice product kit can fix that :)

They are just for the people who wants to reach the Last rank ASAP.Otherwise it's a waste because you collect less crystals as compared to without pass For example

From Captain --->Major

If you have zero crystals initially at the beginning of Captain Rank, when you reach Major Rank you will have Following Crystals with/Without Pass..

Max Crystals with Pass: 50-60k

Max Crystals without Pass:90-100k

These are not Exact values, they are just Examples.

Yeah, but, grinding out the number of tanks needed to get from rank to rank at the top is quite tedious. Had I used a multiplier more in the past I would have likely been Commander during the last sale - which means I could have gotten Firebird M3.

Besides once you reach Gismo you have nothing more to gain from getting more XP so then you can focus on crystal harvesting. :) ;)
