Help with an upgrade order

Hello everyone,

 

This is my first time posting in the forum, so if it's in the wrong section please move it for me.

 

So I'm fairly new to the game, and I know that you should save up crystals for your favourite hull/turret combinasion. In my case, it's wasp/smoky. The thing is, M2 wasp and smoky unlocks very late for me. So my question is, should I stick with smoky/wasp M1 untill colonel rank (doesn't sound like a good plan haha) or use a similar combinasion which unlocks sonner? If so, what would you guys recommend?

 

Oh and by the way, I don't have much money to spend, but a few bucks will be okay :3

The cheapest way = MUing smoky and wasp massively on critical damage and protection parameters, and use the combo till colonel.

Btw, I think discussing about only one player by opening a new topic is not allowed. You should ask in questions and answers, or what to buy, which is better? sections.

I haven't thought of micro upgrade, thanks I think I will do that!

You should micro-upgrade. Besides, when u get to Colonel and your Wasp and Smoky is fully micro-upgraded, it will be a M2.

why do you bother to rank up or upgrade, when all your efforts, game achievements and assets might get completely erased (or seriously nerfed) when Tanki Unity starts and all will have to start from ground zero

We are here to have fun with better equipment and thus enjoy better performance from battles. This is not related to the release of unity.

there is this dreadful possibility of wiping off your garage and achievements in the relatively near future and you don't care and just ride on having fun ????

If there is a large gap between upgrades, then it is wise to MU your equipment a bit, but make sure you don't waste too many crystals on it. Unless your equipment is M3, you shouldn't do more than 50% of the Micro Upgrades (i.e. 12/25 steps) because after that the bonus you get from upgrading one step is a lot smaller, while the price is huge. If you have crystals to spare and want to try something new, then you can consider buying a new turret or hull.
