Changes in turret and hull parameters

M1 damage is increased by ~8% (from 37,0 to 40,2) and M1 max range is increased by ~15% (from 18,2 to 21,0 meters)

This means a lot for my alt. Now, Firebird M1 unlocked really early, will surely be helpful upto WO4. The slight increase means it doesn't become redundant too soon.

 

Freezing speed is decreased by ~62% (from 0,4 to 0,15 points)
Freezing effect power is increased by ~57% (from 70% to 30%)
Unfreezing time is decreased by ~87% (from 31 to 4 seconds)

I have Freeze M1 on this account, buying M2 at WO5. I don't know why range was decreased. I also think the changes in freezing and unfreezing times are too drastic.

 

Damage is dealt every 0,25 second instead of 0,5

Makes me want Isida M1 even more on my alt.

 

M0 damage is increased by ~2% (from 45,1 to 46,4)

M0’s reload speed between shots is increased by ~4% (from 2,33 to 2,24 seconds)

M0’s magazine reload speed is increased by ~1% (from 6,29 to 6,27 seconds)

I have Hammer M0 on my second alt. Isn't this the second time Hammer is getting a nerf? I thought stuff was pretty balanced out in the previous rebalance. Anyway, except for the shot reload speed for M0, all the changes, even the magazine reloads are pretty trivial this time. :)

 

M0 damage is decreased by ~1% (from 6,0-8,0 to 6,0-7,0)

M1 damage is decreased by ~1% (from 10,2-12,2 to 10,2-12,4)

1% more chance of survival if right in front of Twins. Not much, it should be around 5% since Twins is becoming popular (always was though) and too suppressing and damage-dealing at low ranks.

 

M1 damage is decreased by ~2% (from 17,2-21,8 to 17,2-21,1)

M1 impact force is decreased by ~2% (from 1,58 to 1,55)

Have Ricochet M1 on this account. Pretty even changes, considering increase of range last time. Gives Railguns more leeway if Ricochets come near (sometimes on my alt, Ricochets totally mess up my aim, even those in my team :P).

 

M1 damage is decreased by ~3% (from 23,9-29,1 to 22,6-28,5)

Critical M1 damage is decreased by ~3% (from 53 to 51)

M1 maximum range is increased by ~28% (from 104 to 134 meters)

Why did they decrease damage of Smoky M1? I find it really ineffective at times in battles with higher M1 equipment. The added is beneficial though, it sometimes felt that Smoky shots were absolutely nothing at long ranges. Not much, but yes..

 

M0 barrels rotation is increased by ~2% (from 1,96 to 1,91 seconds)

M0 damage is increased by ~8% (from 23,5 to 25,4)

Just 0.05 seconds faster to response isn't much when you read it, but we better test it out on battlefield if it makes a difference or not at all. Damage increase is good, but I think higher modifications gain since Vulcan seemed meager in those. 

 

Weak splash damage is increased by ~150% (from 10% to 25%)

I absolutely love this. As compared to damage through normal shot's decrease, this increase is a lot. I will definitely use my Thunder M0 on secondary alt more often! :D

 

M1 full aiming time is increased by ~22% (from 3,5 to 4,3 seconds)

Sniper M1 damage is increased by ~7% (from 135 to 148)

Arcade M1 damage is decreased by ~5% (from 37-44 to 37-40)

Aiming time increase is substantial to make a difference. Will definitely try out the new arcade shot and snipe shot on this account with M1. I hope I can 1-shot Vikings and Dictators.

 

M0 Titan maximum speed is increased by ~25% (from 4,00 to 5,00 м/с)

M1 Titan maximum speed is increased by ~18% (from 4,41 to 5,21 м/с)

M0 Mammoth maximum speed is increased by ~30% (from 3,12 to 4,06 м/с)

M1 Mammoth maximum speed is increased by ~24% (from 3,35 to 4,18 м/с)

I have Mammoth M0 on second alt and M1 Titan on this account. I find these speed changes humongous. I think now we will see Titans and Mammoths backing up attack in medium maps or even large ones. Interesting to see this change.

When is the test server going to be open?

It's unknown, no one knows when the test server will be open, normally the test server is open to test new futures, as well as find bugs and error. More information about test server can be found here "Test Server".

I haven't played for a few days, but don't find any significant change/"improvement" in Izzy.

As for hull improvements, WHY THE H3LL DID YOU LEAVE HORNET OUT?

The upgrades for other turrets now mean Hornet gets hammered even worse than before.

Hornet ONLY benefits from it's (modest) speed "advantage" when it's been able to sneak up on slower tank...

Any distance involved, and Hornet usually gets dead before we can even get close.

 

Either give Hornet a REAL speed advantage, or, give it an armor boost!

They left hornet out because it's already the most popular hull in the whole game :mellow:

True on the first part. However on the second part ,  a T-bone does not have a tenderloin, a T-bone with a tenderloin is a Porterhouse.  However it would be beyond rude for them to  take the filet off your plate and steak if they realized it after they put it on the table. 

Actually a  Porterhouse is simply a very large T-bone. If they are cut and sold properly you only get 4 per cow. Most restaurants or grocery stores that sell a Porterhouse are just selling T-bones that are slightly larger than the rest of the rack. The definition of a T-bone is a strip loin coupled with the tenderloin. A filet mignon is simply the whole tenderloin that has been removed and then sliced. Likewise a New York strip is simply a cut from the entire strip loin that has been removed. People who know their beef can save money and just buy a good quality T-bone then debone it and then grill both pieces separately (this way you get one NYS and one FM from one cut of beef).

yeah i agree thunder is very weak and this gun is always avoided 

Probably one of the easiest druggers to kill if you have a good hull and just park in front of the offender.

The Freeze is ruined again !!! It  is too difficult to freeze  enemies now ! And  those equiped with  inferno paint ( about 40 deff. against freeze) dont freeze  AT ALL !!!  Why ??? !!! ??? When Loam paint equiped( 40 deff. against Firebird)   the tank  burns as  usual! Why  the tanks equiped with inferno paint dont freeze? That  SUCKS !!!  The increase of the  energy  is  good, but what  use for this energy , when  you almost cant freeze  anyone and even if you do it is just for 3 seconds???!!!??? :angry: :( :angry:

I am  beginning to think that the developers  hate  that  turret  :)

I have noticed that with each "update" there are fewer people using Freeze. When I started playing last year there were lots of people using Freeze. Now I might go 6-8 rounds without ever seeing one.

 

The prior update a month or so ago really ruined Firebird - it seems like they undid that change.

WE can NOT accept what russians do with this game . We PAID for upgraudates fx thunder to do it better, and now thunder is a ****. I got ow 72 in demage and do next level costs me almost 14000 cristals. Does it make a sense???NO. I am giving my accoount to my nephev age of 7 and he will play it like child with no investing money. Thats russians do with this game. Guys NO MORE paying for this game when THEY changing everytging what we have paid before. ITS Real FACE of RUSSIANS.  PROMISSES, giving some things, get real big money for this and at the and take back ALL.  F U  ck this game when russians change everything when they want to. BY, and dont pay real money any more.

Vulcan is now quicker to start firing

Did you read the Feedback about Vulcan not being a Long Range gun as it was initially intended to be? Because it seems that didn't become very clear for some reason. I haven't seen anybody complaining about the barrels. <_<

uhhhhhh,a bad thing are about shaft,becuz,sniping damage are IMENSE so it dosent needed to be upgraded,and,decreasing arcade mode damage should be very bad,the shaft was good,now it became worse,and i say that as a excellent sniper (yeah, i am) GET THE ARCADE MODE DAMAGE BACK!!!!!! :excl:  :excl:  :excl:  :angry:  :angry:

I DEMAND TO INCREASE RICOCHETS DAMAGE!!I DON'T CARE FOR LOUSY IMPACT FORCE,BUT INCREASE IT'S DAMAGE!!

 

I use viking m3 and rico m2(mu'ed) my fav combo...and before this crap i could somehow parry in Polygon CP's and my rico was lets say "holding on" since i MU'ed his damage..For impact force i cared little cause it only felt on wasps,barely even on hornet.

 

And now,even if i need like 10 balls to kill Dictators M2 or Vikings M2(and i'm saying M2 hull not M3) while firebird M2 roasts M3 Mammoths,freeze is way gone...Twins are even more OP...like what??

 

 

M3 Twins/Hornet is like so strong itself + drugging.Hornet is fast and it just goes close to any tank in seconds and the closer it gets more damage twins deal....you just need to activate double armor so you don't get killed and ...yea you pretty much rule.

 

 

Now i'm not beeing greedy,but ricochet DID NOT RECIEVE any DAMAGE BOOSTS for a very long time while twins with no reload is getting stronger and stronger.THATS WHY EITHER INCREASE RICOCHETS DAMAGE or nerf twins,and smoky too.(I'm not one of those that want to have strongest gun,but you really crossed the line..fix it.

I use thunder a lot so I'm a bit ambovalent about the changes since the damage I cause to myself at close range is often more than the opponent is dealing.  Firebird and isida are short range weapons up against a more powerful long range one  It's possible to break isida's beam and keep far enough away to minimise splash damge of one's own thunder but you can't fire quickly enough having done so to knock them out  they've closed in before you can fire again - a  faster reload time would help. . How about an option to upgrade the hypothetical engine in the various hulls likes of viking and hunter? . If paints are euivalent to selecting type of armour why not type of engine. I'm a Computer illiterate dont know if that is possible.

 

I have issues with the range of the likes of hammer, it's a short range low velocity scatter wepon whose damage should decrease exponentially with distance (IMO) yet it has a longer maximun damage range than vulcan - doesn't seem right.

 

How about a weapon where you can select the type of projectile switch between thunder and smoky the equivalent of  high explosive or high velocity armour piercing? .

My thoughts after playing around with the rebalance are:

 

Firebird:

  Still formidable, but could use slightly more base damage.  Good update.

Freeze:

  The update was needed immensely.  Having Isida have more energy than Freeze was not cool.  Great job ;)

Twins: 

  Pretty good, but maybe slightly less damage.  Pretty good.

Ricochet:

  Impact force needs to be taken down.  Too powerful.  Decent update.

Hammer:

  It was balanced before, but these changes will be readily accepted.  Good job.

Smoky: 

  Not very noticeable changes, still will function well in balance.

Thunder: 

  Still too powerful at M2. Otherwise, good job.

Vulcan:

  Nice to have the extra damage, and the barrel rotation will be useful.  Good update.

Shaft:

  Extremely good update.  Needed very much.

Hulls:

  The extra speed will definitely help their popularity.  Well done Devs!

 

Overall, a great update to the balance.  Great job!

Serious question: At m3 ranks freeze is rarely seen when compared to all other turrets, so why do they continue to nerf it beyond belief. It's been my weapon since day 1, but I'm afraid its time to just go buy twins so I can be OP even if it is terribly noobish. Oh well, freeze just got buried further into the grave.

This is very unfair for every short-range gun user. First of all, let's look at what happened for Freeze:

 

Range: Decreased  Guns like Isida now have a HUGE advantage, as Isida is a short-range gun with a much better range than Freeze.

UnFreezing Time: reduced from 31 seconds to 4!!! Freeze can't be used to slow down other tanks right before you die, making its special effect's power heavily reduced.

A few other VERY minor improvements, that don't make up for above.

 

Now, let's look at Firebird:

 

Damage Increased: Has a huge advantage over Freeze, it's main competitor, now.

Max Range: Increased, I play with Firebird a lot, this really wasn't big, compared to the update of Isida.

Burning Time: Decreased, same effect as Freeze. :(

 

Now, probably the most unfair difference, Isida:

 

Isida recently received a very high range boost, already making it very unfair against other short-rangers like Fire and Freeze. Now, the damage is doubled, or aka dealt twice as fast. Isida is now the ultimate short-range gun for team battles.

Impact Force is everything, Rico's main boost was its ability to knock off shots, Railgun became useless against Rico, it definitely deserved that nerf.

Damage isn't increased for Isida. It's just that the packs in which it is dealt with, will be more frequent.

Also, I agree unfreezing time is too low.

But, still Freeze doesn't become redundant against Isida comparing the ranges, remember, Isidas now have to adjust their lock-on unlike Freeze's splash damage.
