Changes in turret and hull parameters

Do you even test these changes before putting them in place?!!!?

Rail now kills my Horny (Hornet) even easier than before; I'm using Digital which is "supposed" to be good against Rail (44+1, MU'd to 6/12)

and a Rail kept blowing me away the moment I respawned: 1 shot and there I am, DEAD.

There were no changes to Railgun at all, and Medium hulls got a speed boost. I'm not sure where this is coming from.

i like how 2 balances ago, freeze sucked and thunder was a beast, now its the opposite, rather than "balance" i call it "buy the OP thing of the month, so next month we'll change it and you'll have to pay $$ :D"

the only thing that doesnt change like this is Railgun as you need it for starladder. pah...

There were no changes to Railgun at all, and Medium hulls got a speed boost. I'm not sure where this is coming from.

Well, something has changed that wasn't planned on: before I got Digital Paint, Rail could kill me with 1 shot (at close range),

after I got (and slightly MU'd) Digital, it took 2 shots.

Now, Rail takes me out with 1 shot again (from any range), and Digital offers little to no  protection...

Also, Hornet is considered Light hull and hasn't gained any speed.

It SHOULD get either a speed boost or armor boost because it isn't really fast and nimble enough to evade long range guns unless you're able to sneak right up behind them.

Also, Hammer is now seriously OP; kills me with 1 shot easily, or if I have DA, kills in 2.

Head to head, Isida takes too long to kill compared to other turrets; they can kill in 1 or 2 shots before I drain even half their energy,

Firebird kills me even after I've managed to kill them... how the f@ck is THAT balanced?

After playing for a couple of days since the update, here is what I feel:

 

Smoky: weak; the critical hit damage can be increased a bit; it is the uniqueness of this weapon.

Ricochet: the number of shots (balls) in one clip can be reduced a bit.

Thunder: if the damaged is being kept at what it is right now, the reload time can be reduced a bit, i.e. a bit faster reload.

Isida: cone angle is still too small.

Firebird: a bit OP now.

Twins: OP

Hammer: the damage at longer range damage can be reduced a bit; it is OP at mid range. Or simply reduce the maximum range.

Freeze: seems okay.

Vulcan: I don't feel it is under-power but it is a kind of "non-user-friendly" now.

Shaft: seems okay.

 

Medium hull speed: I don't feel big difference.

Heavy hull speed: much better now, of course.

That's pretty much how it works. They claim to use feedback to adjust balance. That's a lie.

They look at how many hulls or turrets are being bought and when something becomes too popular they nerf it while buffing things that aren't selling well. Then when the pendulum swings too far in another direction they do it again.

It's sort of like drug dealers adjusting how much of their drugs they put into what the sell to keep everyone addicted to every product.

this update is BULLSH!T...

My hull and turret are both M2:

Isida has Damage, Self Healing, Reload Time and Range fully MU'd (Healing is 9/19)

Hornet has Protection and Speed fully MU'd, (everything else at about 50%).

Digital paint (the best Rail protection I have right now) is 18+1, 44+1, 15+1 BUT I'M STILL GETTING WASTED WITH 1 SHOT FROM RAIL.

The best defence I have against Firebird is Spark (MU'd to 20+1) AND IT DON'T DO SH1T AGAINST FIREBIRD: within 1.5 to 2 seconds, I'm toast (pun intended).

Roger is my best paint against Twins (32+1) and it also SUCKS.

BUYING PAINTS AND UPGRADES IS A RIP OFF & WASTE OF TIME.

Hornet + Isida should be able to be used as an aggressive tank, not just a "Medic",

but you devs have made it so that just about everything on the map wastes Hornet + Isida with ease, making it an exercise in frustration and futility to play in an aggressive capacity. All it's good for now is hiding around the flag base and healing team mates

Unless, (like me) you're a chronic drugger with an ample supply,

Hornet + Isida are useless now as an aggressive tank, so if you can't afford the drugs to play aggressively, don't waste your $$ on this combo.

You are right. I agreed.

 

I knew it months ago and I have decided to, no matter how, stick with no more than 2 turrets and 2 hulls and that is. For example, If one of my turrets is being nerfed, I use the other one until they do the so call re-balance again and see which one of the two turrets I own would be better; I then will switch or keep the one in use.

I think there is something with the Firebird now. I am using M1 Viking (Protection fully MU to 230) with Storm paint (anti Firebird fully MU to 30%) almost all the time. I was killed (with full health) in, I believe, less than 2 (may be 1.5)  seconds by M1 Firebird (non-drugged). I can see that my health bar starts decreasing from full and, most of the time, my tank just being blown off suddenly when the health bar reaches a little below half way down. It is pretty frustration. I sometime give up when under attack by Firebird; I go to the fridge to get some drinks.

What makes you think that Hornet+Isida should be used as an aggressive tank? Are you just saying that because you used to use it as an aggressive tank, then realized it was good at being aggressive, then thought it should stay that way? I've never found Isida as an aggressive weapon anyways, unless you have a stockpile of supplies. Hornet has always been designed with the purpose of healing. And people can still spend money on Hornet+Isida, just not if they plan on being aggressive. You do realize that being aggressive isn't the only way to do anything, right? Hornet+Isida is still a great combo for getting xp fast in team battles. Normally, in CTF, I don't act aggressive at all, instead I simply heal midfielders, defenders, and attackers going for the flag. And you know what? I always end up in the top three. Maybe you should focus on the special part of Isida: healing ;)

Isida + DD + DA is a really damned aggressive turret with the right hull. M3 Isida, M3 Viking + DD + DA is extremely aggressive because it can act like a self-healing vampire sucking the life out of opponents while healing itself.

If you want a balance game take off damage to hammer because in just oNE shot it kill you, alsó the damage, impact forcé and reload of smoky its incredible.

I have hornet + thunder m3 full update and its imposible play with them. You have a

little chance to beat them in large mal, i.e stadium.

I am ver y disapppnting with this updatd

THIS IS NOT A "BALANCED" GAME!!!

TANKS WITH MEDIUM AND LONG RANGE TURRETS DOMINATE LIGHT TANKS WITH SHORT RANGE TURRETS.

Hornet + Isida are too easily beaten by almost every other combo.

There should be a built-in modifier, when a tank equips Isida,

there should be an automatic increase to protection while using Izzy

No. It's the users fault for not learning how to be stealthy using the quietist turret in Tanki.

Can Someone explain to me what was in this update that I get from relativly playable game and FPS of 20-30

suddenly get from 9-11FPS and in worst case 2 FPS?

I don't need to be a programer to say that "something is wrong in the country Danish".

But this is not the end of the problems after I go out from the game a whole Mozilla firefox and now when

I write this, I write like in the slowmotion (1 char per 2 second).

Something is happen with hole flash player which in turn slow up the whole mozilla.

When I restart the mozilla everything is OK till I go into the game. Since then everything is in slowmotion in Firefox.

Before this last update I don't have this problem.

Till You solve this problem I be a visitor in the tankionline.

Yes, but he was saying it should be able to be aggressive without drugs. Although I do know personally how aggressive it can be with drugs ^_^

Freeze became useless. no point in using it anymore.

 

vulcan is the weapon that destroyed this game for good. overepowered.if it is mounted on a heavy hull and repair kits are used ,and if on top of this you add an isida behind repairing the tank, then good luck. the game is very very difficult to win...unless we use a ton of supplies(if this is TO target) to make us spend money on huge amounts of supplies, you might as well tell us to stop playing

Light hulls are becoming more and more useless.  to my opinion the recent changes in balance brought exactly the opposite results. NO BALANCE...

Vulcan was everywhere for the first day or so, then it disappeared. I never understood why. Then I experienced my first rebalance.

 

Vulcan is only effective when you catch your enemy in open ground. It takes far too long to do damage. If there is cover close by, the enemy tank can usually make it out from your fire.

 

Compared to rail, shaft, and Isida which inexplicably shoot THROUGH walls.

Vulcan is only effective when you catch your enemy in open ground. It takes far too long to do damage. If there is cover close by, the enemy tank can usually make it out from your fire.

Agreed with the first two paragraphs.

 

However, when rail, shaft and isida shoot through walls, they don't really, it's just lag. All the other turrets seem to do the same when I'm running behind cover.
