Changes in turret and hull parameters

umm lets see the results of last two pages

 

players from WO5 ---- to ----- 1 lieutenant  

                    Thunder is as good as before but now even better with splash dmg increased

players from Brigadier -------- to ----------Generallismo 

 Thunder now cannot compete with other turrets except freeze

 

MY CONCLUSION

Lower ranks lacks a lot of experience and skillz which we have , at lower ranks u can easily stay on top e.g I usually stay of top with MO shaft and M1 wasp in ISLAND and I dont need to use my titan twins combo.

But at my current rank I cant even survive with pure skillz now bcz thunder and freeze are just not good enough.

SO I GO WITH Brigadier -------- to ----------Generallismo

I stopped using Freeze.
 
There was one advantage in it and they invalidate it.
 
A Firebird M2 is more effective then Freeze M(almost)4. This is ridiculous...

 

When I started playing last year Freeze was the most effective flag defender. Also a good Freeze player could chase down a flag carrier and slow them down so the team could catch up. Now I rarely see anyone using it.

Really, never nerf it? People are complaining about how much less effective it is at flipping, because it got decreased impact force and light hulls got weight boosts. Remember that? Wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, a lot of people seem to only look at one side of the story around here -_-

Well it is apparent you are looking at only one side of the story, and not a accurate side either. The reduction of impact for rail was to make for less flipping in XP and BP games. A flipped tank there is one permanently one less tank in a small number battle. So unless killed( which is a bad idea) compared to outnumbering your enemy in a small tank number battle, particularly CTF. So people just sit there upside down till they SD which means a loss of kills and credits.  In short the recoil for rail was done to benefit BP/XP games and players. 

 

Flipping tanks in regular battles is and was a fairly non-issue with all the heavier than hornet hulls. And it still can knock most tanks off target with every shot.

 

But rail got a reload speed up last rebal and an increase in damage in the re-bal before that. SO in 7 months they have increased rail twice in parameters that matter in normal battles , and now this reduction in "flipping" ability which was a merely BP/XP adjustment and no "nerf" in the REAL game of Tanki.

On other issues , they have further made the short range game an even more unskilled blood bath. And with all the speed increases short range battles are more prevalent. Look at the battles , more than half are always polygon CP's. 

 

And with Shaft's further damage increase along with rail shooting faster , you can forget long range battles, unless you like being one of those two. No other weapons can fight a long range battle anymore, because they have been nerfed and/or don't inflict nearly the damage that shaft and rail do at long range. i.e.Smoky, Thunder and Vulcan

And I add to this, that Thunder DPS is only 6 higher than Railgun (at max MU), but with way less range.

oh wow, many of the problems that I had with all of the turrets last rebalance got fixed here. I might actually play this game for a while now.

some of this changes was awful like thunder... :unsure: 

but some of them was great like fire and isda...  ^_^ 

and what do u think aboud wasp+smokym2??? is that good?? should I save for them?

I quit Tanki after ranking up to Brigadier general because the game became pointless to play due to what I call "In House Cheats" those over powered guns that I had no chance against. People three freaking ranks below me were killing me with ease. I wasn't  able to earn the crystals and points I needed to rank up in a reasonable period of time.

 

With these new updates, I think I'll start playing regularly again.

 

P.S. I think some of the guns are still overpowered.....the fire to name one.

hammer is useless now...its damage is reduced.it has only 3 shots.its meat after that..neither hammer has range..neoither does it have unlimited ammo..its damage was its strength...its useless now.

Unless you have an Armsel  Striker or Saiga 12 there isn't a shotgun in this world that is close to being able to use unlimited ammunition. A  shotgun blast is most effective at close range so it would make no sense for Hammer to damage tanks that aren't directly in front of it. Hammer still takes me out in two shots without the use of drugs.

If you want a balance game Decrease the impacto forcé and reload or damage of smoky. Also vive a little more protrection or weight to Hornets

Tanki just because no one really plays or likes freeze cut it out, cause of that you have to always do a re-balance like seriously this think about freeze being deleted started at early 2014...

The changes to firebird are WAY too much.  It has become and "automatic kill" weapon.  In the time it takes any other weapon to cycle once (except maybe twins), firebird virtually guarantees a kill.  Both power AND range are a mess.  

 

Here's an idea: Instead of having the firebird require the player to aim and fire, why not just set a radius of 20 meters and anyone who enters dies?  It would be almost the same thing.  The only element of firebird that limits its overwhelming advantage is the requirement to recharge.  That is, after barbecuing a half dozen enemy tanks (in one shot) it has to recharge.  

 

Set firebird back to the way it was.  The new settings are ruining the game.
