Changes in turret and hull parameters

I feel like they are balancing thunder without taking paints into consideration, since thunder resistance seems to be much more common.

Thunder paints are so much more common because of how powerful thunder is. They shouldn't have to take common paints into consideration, because paints are only common because of the effectiveness of the weapons they protect against.

@Papaya: Did Hammer get nerfed that much?

On front page some guy says Hammer is still OP, with a happy face,and a cry of YES!  :P

So I'm guessing he would disagree with you. . . ?

 

But then again he is quite a high rank, one rank higher than me.

Possibly he has an M3+ Hammer . . ?

Nothing changes.
Buy Hornet and Railgun ...
Be a coward.
Fast, Kill with one Shot, and is only allowed in the tournament.
The revalances NOT affect what ever.

Hornet/Railgun isn't a coward. You call someone who plays smart, with peek-a-boo tactics and all, a coward?

Then how about I call you a stupid tanker for driving straight into the sniper's zone of fire?

Why nothing on richochet has been increased. It was my favourite and most used turret. first it was shaft and u added the laser and now u decrease the damage of richochet and its impact force. ever do something to make the game better? :angry:

Some people will always call it OP, some will always call it under-powered. Me, I think it's fine. A bit under-powered maybe.

Change this, change that.. still do nothing about mults!

Tanki care about popularity,

Twin is somewhat not popular enough, and they power up it.

Vulcan is somewhat not popular enough, and they power up it.

Thunder is somewhat popular, and they nerf it. 2nd popular in tanki CMMIW

Ricochet is somewhat popular, and they nerf it. 3rd popular in tanki CMMIW

 

And tanki is scared to nerf railgun, the 1st popular turret

@Genak: Hammer is fine until it gets on drugs. Kills you so fast you don't have time to fire. :P

But lets see how this "nerfed" version works out.

 

@AliceTreatPU: Yeah you got it right.

Railgun's fine as it is. You got Forrester, Digital, and Prodigi along with the newer paints that I'm not familiar enough with. So it's all good. No need to change it. Still very effective without being OP or UP, and players love it. Hehe.

so glad to see flame put back in its box. the last re-balance was ridiculous (of course now it's down again i wasted money buying loam paint.. oh well..) looking forward to less flamer annoyance now.

 

hammer is my favourite turret. good to see it shoots faster again, that was the other thing I really hated about last re-balance, which totally destroyed the close in advantage hammer/hornet had over rail/hornet by letting a similarly upgraded rail get off 2 shots inside the space of 3 hammer shots (of course rail has the far off advantage, so was really annoying to see it having the close in advantage too!) 

 

overall I give this rebalance a 7. Not perfect but good to see the worst parts of the last rebalance being addressed..

@Genak: I don't know. For me I'm fine with lots of weapons using DP : Smoky, Thunder (sometimes, since I know how to deal with them), Railgun (With that reload and chance of missing), Shaft ( Reload + Nerfed vision), Twins/Freeze/Isida takes longer to kill you since they do damage over time. Though Firebird can also stand out, although I rarely see M3 versions. . . .

 

But not sure man. Those DP Hammers are too crazy. Much OP when drugged.

freeze is useless now .. tanks would freeze super slow and unfreeze super fast .More over with the recent update of getting freezed only on turret make it a wasted turret .

 

And why tanki devs  keeps on increasing the twins damage ? with unlimited ammo and high damage for each twin ball makes it harder even to reach near a twins with heavy hull .

 

By the way tanki wont alter the damage of rail bcoz they may have to rebalance the entire xp bp games if they have to do so ..

THESE new changes sucks , already tried them

Firebird

As seen they have make firebird again a better turret than freeze. How lets see guys

Range of firebird m4  ---  M3+ max range is increased by ~8% (from 23,0 to 25,0 meters)

Range of freeze M4   ---  M3+ max range is decreased by ~4% (from 21,0 to 20,0)

an increase of 5metres

And 

M3 firebird M3 damage is increased by ~1% (from 32,1 to 32,5)

  and  freeze has the same thing.

Now firebird is actually a better turret than freeze as u can see but not only this if u see freezing of freeze It sucks now I mean firebird have way better burning then 4sec freeze which eliminates as soon as u die.

FREEZE IS DISCUSSED WITH IT

 

Isida

Now isida is too good I mean twice the damage as done before - and faster health recovery

NOTE I am smiling bcz i got m3 isida.

 

 

If i have to saay I WOULD say

                                                                           Isida > Firebird > Freeze

 

Twins

Wow really dmg incresed again. 

                                                             Now its the best short range turret 

Ricochet

UMM when u see and compare it with twins its crap I must say.I mean dmg and impact force both are decreased ..... WHY

Smoky

I must say that admins dealt it right according to need in short lvls but now in medium ones it will rock out through the game. I mean 

50+ dmg in two hits on hornet and nxt turn 100 critical hit , so it can now 3hit KO hornet making it a bit too good.

Vulcan

Wow I nvr have tried it but it seems a big boost , and will kill easier and harder I must say that it looks a bit too good

Thunder

Umm that nerfing of thunder is bad enough. I am used to thunder from like 1st lieutenant and now decreasing dmg might seems nthing at first glance but  if u see the old thunder I should say that it holds the ability to kill viking in 3hits which it cannot now. and splash dmg comes in use so less.

Shaft

They did justice to it now I can think of using it in medium lvl and even short ones with right techinque.

 

HULLS

Why increase speed of every thing it means that they can approach turrets like thunder fast . This is bad for hornet likes >.<

 

I mostly stick to short and medium range lvls so if I were t rate then

1. Twins

2. Isida

3. Hammer - Oh I forgot this one - I want to say that they should decrese its impact force or considering its impact force they should decrease its hitting time.

4.  Railgun - They increased its rate of firing but why not decrease dmg >.< It will aid better than thunder now 

5. Smoky

7. Vulcan

8. Thunder

9. Freeze

All changes are welcomed. But I wana ask why does Railgun never get a boost? It cannot flip even a wasp( With Side shots) with the new cheat engine update. The boost in Railgun's impact force would have been helpful. And as always lighter hulls never receive any boost. -_-

I agree that Thunder took a hit. Reload time should be lessened/shortened.

Splash damage only happens when 2 or more enemy tanks are in close proximity. And this is rarer than not.

The increase in splash damage is not a sufficient compensation for the decrease in maximum damage.
