Gold boxes arent the main feature of the game. You should focus on winning the battle as more crystals are on the line there than in a goldbox. 

Not in lower rank battles. A gold box could easily be twice as much as the end-of-the-battle reward even if you're on the winning team. Although I agree the rest of your post. :)

Completely missed the gold box problem.  I've only had one chance at a gold box.  I just happened to be at the right place at the right time.  I was able to destroy the first tanker to confront me however the second tanker was my teammate who was in a much bigger hull then mine.  They simply pushed me out of the way and stole what was rightfully mine.

 

A much better and more fair change would be to add a certain percentage to the winning person/teams score at the end of the game.  This makes it fair for everybody and not just the person who happened to be in the right place at the right time, with the bigger hull, or whatever else you have to do to steal the gold box from the first person who found the "drop zone".  This idea would also give people more incentive to compete during team games and not just sit still, chit/chatting while the rest of the team suffers.

When I saw "tech maintenance planned" yesterday, I thought it was gonna be the daily missions.......

 

Nevertheless, the update is still awesome....only point I got to make (rather, agree on) is that the gold box drop time extension makes it easier for dictators to reach the spot, making it harder for other hulls to get it.

Same thing happened again with the gold box.  The "drop zone" appeared right before me so I stopped and waited.  After several seconds a mass of tankers pushed me out of the way and stole what was rightfully mine.  The longer lapse time only means that bigger, more powerful hulls can now reach the drop zone and simply push others out of the way.  

 

Once this was a fairly fun game however recent events are making my desire to play less and less.  As a gamer we do have other alternatives.  I'm sure they won't miss me since I haven't spent a dime of my own money here however I can't be the only one who is displeased by the lack of "fairness" with this game.

Just because you happen to find the drop spot first, doesn't make you the rightful owner of the gold box. The gold goes to whoever touches it first, plain and simple. Maybe next time you shouldn't stand directly on the spot, but sit far enough away to avoid the tidal wave of tanks, and maybe hitch a ride on one for the gold. ;) Until then, better luck next time!

Thanks but no thanks.  The gold box drops are completely unfair for all.  If you wish to try to steal them then by all means you have that right.  I'll just stick to the task at hand, winning the game.  I only been playing this game for a few months and it seems like it keeps getting worse and worse, might not be around much longer anyway.

Really miss them a lot. :(  Once used to join big battles with gizmos(who concentrate on the game) while I wander around catching them. :lol:
