Gold box

Personally I liked the opportunity to grab smaller gold boxes during the game.  Now I play and end up with just 10 -50 gold for a game.   Or add some smaller gold boxes during the game with the odd one or two big boxes.  In summary - more boxes!  Thanks

I hate this update. Due to this many of the lighter hulls (like mine - hornet m3) - although they drug, they die by the time the gold box falls whether you are near the gold box sign or not. 30 seconds is too much time - other heavy tankers and ruling due to this at the time of gold box. I hate this really

...now all the "drug" tankers will use all the time Repair kit and we cant destroy them..now we must buy all the time Repair kit supply..

All the time repair kit, I don't think you understood. The update has made the repair kit worse, not better

In small/medium maps there may be enough time to change hull, self distruct and make it to the gold drop (depending on internet)

I highly doubt it, by the time you've entered the garage - 10 seconds gone..then you choose the tank, 5 second at the least, respawn and your like a mile away and Ky_go has taken the gold box

Depends on the size of the map - for example you could do it in Sandbox as the drops are rather close to each other - were as in polygon they can literally be on any part of the map.

It sounds good and fair with the additional 10 seconds was put there for gold box drop; however, which increases the difficultly of catching gold box because more tanks can get there in time. With my rank, I don't feel one or two gold boxes would help a lot on MU or buying items. Unless I play hours and hours everyday and catch gold box after gold box otherwise I prefer do better in the battle. (I don't play a lot in a day; 1 hr max)

 

P.S. does anyone know is there a rule that shooting other tanks is not allowed during the gold box drop period? I saw someone complained that he/she was shot and killed during the gold box drop so that he/she couldn't get to the drop zone in time. I never heard of such rule.

There's no such rule, but it's good manners  not to kill until the gold is actually dropping so that everyone gets a fair chance of at least finding the spot :)

In my opinion, the gold boxes should be removed, from the game. I personally use the shaft/mammoth and camp in far places deep in the enemy base.

 

When the gold box falls i never reach the spot in time. Believe it or not, of the 43 games in which there were gold boxes while i was playing, i only got to see the gold box thrice, and have got only one gold box. :angry:

 

So the point is i can not camp effectively, while still being ready for the gold boxes, and i feel left out in the whole gold box thing. I too am a part of the game, as are the other mammoth users, so please add the gold box fund to the battle fund.

... Have you ever tried, I don't know, small maps?

They have decided to bring back all the aspects of the crystals boxes without actually bringing the boxes.  Many of the Daily Missions involve having to grab a certain number of supply boxes before you get your reward.... which is frequently crystals.

I love the new update of the goldbox, and because of it , I started to catch more goldboxes.
