This is the result of me saying anything in chat.  Hopefully player's responses to seeing a chat mod in chat will calm down after a while.

And Here is an Idea...

If a Mod Chat anything at the Chat The First Player to Chat to him is gonna be the one the Mod will reply to. Players cant reply to the Mod if the Mod didnt reply to the First Player who talked to him. I hope u get it. :P

I was a big fan of these at first, but now I am really hating them, if players see one its a case of ask 30 silly questions. and the answer to 29 of them is already posted up, just seems most are to lazy to scroll up.

 

So all it's doing is flooding the chat.

Im glad to see the Staff got upgrades but im still wanting to know why they wont let me be staff i applied i ask what can i do to change to help them and the staff only ever say give up and i want staff this is really becomming annoying watch i will apply when i get done with this post and then mark my words they will reject me and they dont even care cause the administration says no and yet i know cause more then one mod they say cause my level is low thats 2.1.6. Discrimination of inexperienced players (newbies): misinformation, intimidation, mockery; and if you say they dont break that Rule then may be this can tell you they did say my EXP   what a joke i am glad they got a update im not happy that they act like its rare to get staff and set rules then break there rules to stop someone from becoming staff. FYI My karma has been Clean for 8 months only like 2 warnings

I have already seen the effects the new icon makes. I was watching the lobby chat. No battles are being played, but Players were exchanging accounts, spamming, offering others the use of their body parts, many rules being broken. No one is being warned or banned. A Chat Mod enters the room with his shinney new ID icon and announces that he is there to help and invites the players to ask him questions. Everyone behaves themselves, some quit chatting altogether. Everyone is polite and friendly to the Chat Mod and trolling as mentioned several times already, some offenders ask how they can become Staff. After a couple hours (estimated time, may be less) the Chat Mod leaves and it's back to business as usual. Again, no warnings and no bans. Some of the chats regarding broken rules are still visible, but the Mod did nothing to try to eradicate the offenders.

 

The new icons has its advantages, but it, also, has its downside.

 

Can Chat Mods ban? If so, then why wasn't anything said about the chats before he announced his prescence? I am :blink: ?
