Camera speed adjustment

Tankers!

With the update, you can now manually adjust the speed of your turret rotation camera. Get detailed instructions on how to do that in the wiki.

Should have made it an option in the Settings, rather than requiring tankers to open up a console and typing in the variables after every server update, making it more tedious than it should be. Just have the new camera speed under Alternate Camera Behavior, is it so difficult? :unsure:

I agree. This is actually only useful for those who know about the forum and wiki. There are very few of those people in the low ranks. Of course, it's nice to have the option at all, but if people don't use the forum or wiki currently, they won't know how to change it.

OK, I discovered the most amazing camera setting we could ever imagine.

 

1. Enter game.
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+K
3. Type vars.set cam_maxmove 0
4. Press Enter
5. Enjoy spectator mode  ;)

For best results in battle go to a high area, put your camera in the highest position above your tank using Q and then put in the command. The results are amazing!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or you can set it to 0.1 or 0.5 and have a camera that slowly follows your tank as you go :)
