By the way, I disagree with the equipment part a bit. Sure, M0s are useless against an M3, but it's not such a situation as being destroyed the moment you spawn. I have had awesome battles with higher ranks, particularly that Hill CTF with Marshals. There was a Twins M3, with Hunter or Viking. He was very annoying to my tank, but I still broke my record of highest fund at that time, around 950 was what I got. And I had Wasp M1.

 

Otherwise, a masterpiece, like I said before. And apply for reporter.

My saying that you'll be destroyed as soon as you spawn was an exaggeration used to make a point.  Unless your name is Clark Kent, if you want to compete on a fair level and win a fight with a M3 tanker, you don't use an M0 tank.

 

Btw may I suggest you play Polygon CP?  My highest battlefund there when I was your rank was 2034 crystals in a 60 min battle.

could you give me some advice on how I can get max crystals but get minimum xp?

Okay, well, there's a few things that I usually do to do pretty much the same thing.

1) Play on the winning team in team battles. The winning team will always get much higher rewards than the losing team. So you should focus on doing the things that help your team to win. If you want minimum xp, then this doesn't necessarily mean going for the flag or point. Instead, play defense in CTF, and make sure your flag doesn't get taken. In CP, go for the people who are going straight for the point. In TDM, focus on that annoying Mammoth Twins that keeps killing everyone else. 

2) Rank high in DMs. This is a little risky, but if done right, will be much more rewarding even than playing team battles. The thing is that the reward in DM is split exponentially, so if you get twice as many kills as someone else, you'll get more than twice as many crystals. So if you stay on top in DMs, you'll be getting a lot of crystals, even if not for the minimum xp. However, you will have to be kill-stealing all the time. Look for groups of tanks fighting, and try to go for the one that is being fired on the most. Naturally, you'll have to have a high damage weapon. I think Thunder would probably be the best for this, especially for when there are lots of tanks right next to eachother. If you're using ricochet, you can actually damage two tanks at once. If they're touching each other, aim at where they're touching. This will double your chance of killing one of them.

3) Play longer battles. Although this can be risky, as you can easily lose your place in the battle over time, longer battles tend to reward more crystals per xp than shorter battles. I think this is because there's more time for people to leave. If somebody is fighting for a while, contributing to the fund, and then leaves before the battle's over, then the crystals they pretty much put into the fund won't go to them, and will go to the players who stay till the end. Since this happens more often in longer battles, you will be getting more crystals for your xp.

2.)    Chatting incessantly and pointlessly.

 

My good buddy ziggi_the_best, no longer on Tanki (*sob* I miss her so much), told me about a Polygon CP she played where some tanker was constantly using the chat box, fussing at sometanki who destroyed him, arguing about various things, and complaining about how badly his day on Tanki was turning out.  “I’m pretty sure he could’ve played better,” ziggi said, “if he would’ve shut up and actually played.”

 

Chatterbox tankers are an enemy’s favorite type of target.  You can’t control your tank when you are using the chat box, so you offer no resistance when they rumble up to you and shoot you point-blank.  In fact, devious players in Deathmatches will often chat something like “Which is the best turret?” then drive around butchering the tankers who stop to respond.

Please don't mistaken friendship bonding as "pointless chatter"... many people use the tank chat to commute with friends, which isnt against the rules right..? Because often whenever im talking with my friends people yell at me and tell me to actually play... the thing is though, that it takes about 10 seconds to respawn, and thats usually when most people say things in the chat... 

Part of the reason tanki is such a great and growing game is because its really easy to interact with friends. labeling friendship bonding as pointless chatter will only harm tanki. 

 

You also said something about using drugs... Many people disagree with the presence of drugs in the game, hence they never use them. Questioning why people don't use them is rude...

I'm not bashing the act of using the chat box.  That's how I met ziggi in the first place.  What I am bashing is the usage of the chat box to insult, spam, blabber for no reason, whine, complain, and do whatever is going to detract from the game.

 

So some people disagree with the presence of drugs in the game?  Then they should make a pro battle without drugs.  Yes it's expensive.  They could afford it if they'd use drugs to enhance their performance.

 

I disagree with people discussing politics on this site, but it isn't against the rules.  Freedom of speech, you know.  But I don't fuss at people for discussing it, even though it detracts from my enjoyment of the game.  It's called tolerance.  Everypony screams for everypony else to tolerate him, until he sees something he doesn't agree with.  Tolerance goes out the window.  That's called hypocrisy.

Actually, since I wasn't asking a question, that would've sound pretty sarcastic added to the end of my post - so maybe not xD

 

How would I feel if I did hurt his feelings, as you suggest? Vaguely amused, for that wasn't my intention. I was simply ridiculing his ignorance, rather than undertaking any sort of ad hominem attack. And since you made me post here again...

Alright friend, just use the 'Quote' button at the bottom corner of a post when replying to someone... It makes things a lot easier. 

 

When you see this "whining and complaining" it may just be there way of starting a conversation, or maybe they were discussing something with a friend and it just sounds like whining and complaining to you. Just don't jump to conclusions. 

 

Its a way of boycotting the system of drug usage. The less people use them, the more likely tanki will have to do something to either motivate people to use drugs, or just get rid of them entirely. Yes, we are a long way from that, but it is a dream of many people. 

 

Politics...? when did I bring up politics? actual real world diplomacy is forbidden to discuss on the forums...

Alright friend, I use Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.  Neither one allows for quoting.  I even tried using the button to quote you for this reply, but it didn't work.

 

So a guy gets hit by a sniper a couple of times and starts swearing like a human sailor on the chat box.  Not to anyone in particular (friends, for example), just cursing the world over because he was defeated..  I can see what great potential that has for starting a conversation!

 

Tanki is never going to eliminate supplies.  They are essential, and really only about 5% of tankers disagree with their existence.  I didn't say that only 5% of tankers don't use them, I said that 5% don't AGREE with them.  How are you going to get rid of something that 95% of players like and use?

 

I'm not going to get into an argument about the supplies.  I am currently working on an article entitled "In Defense of Supplies" which will be released within the next two weeks.  Every half-baked excuse to get rid of them will be examined and debunked.

 

Yeah, politics is not allowed in the forum.  But insults and profanity aren't allowed either.  Still the lawless among us figure out a way to discuss it.

 

I brought politics up to say that I disagree with the discussion of politics but stay silent and TOLERANT to other's political opinions.  If I want them to stop talking about it, I don't tell them to shut up, I find another server where notanki is talking about it.

 

TADA, I was comparing this to anti-supply tankers.  Instead of guilt-tripping kit users, they could utilize the options that Tanki has made available to them and find their little happy place, away from all those mean old supplies.
