"Spectator mode" using camera settings

You can also try using other numbers like 0.3 or 1 to have a slow moving camera, that slowly follows your tank. This creates an interesting "Cinematic camera" effect, that would look great in video.

A small suggestion for those of you, who want to use this feature in videos: To make the rotation of your camera more smooth you can choose a turret with slow turret rotation speed, such as Railgun or Shaft. If you are recording yourself drive around, then you will find it a lot easier to do if you use Vulcan and constantly shoot while driving. This makes it so that you can turn your tank as much as you want and the gyroscope will prevent your turret from changing direction, meaning that the camera will stay in one place and you can rotate it independent from the hull.

For a "fly-by" of a map you need to go to one corner, set the camera speed to zero and then drive your tank to the other corner of the map (which can often be quite difficult). Once you get there, set the camera speed in a range between 0.001 - 0.05 and enjoy a slow ride across the air above the map.

I didn't know these, must try them.

Is there a way to change the rotation speed as well? (To 0 actually)

Only if you choose a different turret which turns slower. And if you want to drive around and turn your tank without turning the camera, you can put on vulcan and constantly shoot while you're driving. That's the only way to stop rotation, as far as I know.

New tabs? o_O

The only thing it should open is the white console window that takes up half of the screen.

No it opens a tab where I log in, so I got scared and logged out restarted my computer, and went back.

That's weird. You should post in P&S section if this continues.
