Option to hide UI

Is anyone that stupid? I doubt it.

The same thing exists in World of Tanks, where if you press the V key the HUD is gone. Unlike in TO, the HUD is absolutely necessary in WoT. Yet I don't see people panicking because they accidentally pressed the V key.

this is boring the post was 2 years ago and my topic merged

1 year ago and still under review just give us the options to hide it noting else

thank you

Keeping your topic separate would not speed up the process of implementing this idea in any way. It would only make the section messy since we would have two topics about the same thing.

I don't want to see a double firepower, armor, or speed-up icon hovering over an enemy (or friendly) tank. I know if an enemy has double armor because the damage numbers will be dramatically lower. I know if he has double firepower when he hits me, by looking at my health bar. I know that he has a speed-up if he goes faster than normal.

They make the screen look cluttered, and are annoying.

I don't want to see enemy or friendly names either. These things should be visible if you hit the "show modules and equipment" key.

These names and icons lead to a cluttered look, and I would not like to see them. You could still tell who are allies, because you could see the health bar.

To be clear, this would be an individual option under settings, just like graphics options. It would not change unless you select it.

hey  nemeanlion here!

i have a suggestion, why dont you guys make and option for turning off the visibility of the reload and health bar in the settings just like the drop zones for drop boxes, please consider this as the reload and health bar dont look good on videos. Thanks

The idea is simple. There must be option in settings to hide nickname and health bar.

While recording parkour clips and other stuff in fake spec, the name and health bar ruins the clip. So, I thought that tanki should make some option in the settings where we can hide name and health bar in settings.

Like in spectator mode, just press \ to hide another chunk of the UI.

I think it would be better if we had to go into the settings to enable or disable it, and not all of it at once by part by part. So let's say if there is UI tab in the Settings, it would have many checkboxes like, HUD, Experience bar etc. and you would check all of them to enable/disable it. If there was a button it could be pressed accidentally and then you would have to press it many times to get back to normal.

You'd be able to change it in settings and set a button that you won't (or less likely to) accidentally press. And if you do press it, pressing it 4 more times to get back to default view doesn't seem too problematic. I think the spec-like UI key is much better than an option in settings, not to mention that it already exists, as opposed to an option that would have to be developed first.

I'm so glad I can finally bring back this dead topic.

Guys, it's only been 8 years since I posted it. I'm sure the option will be added any day now!

Knowing how it is with them, the UI is probably made up of a dozen different incompatible elements, so creating a setting that toggles all of them off and on would not only be difficult, but it could break the whole interface in unforeseen ways.

But, for the most part, this feature request is in relatively low demand, doesn't bring in revenue, and isn't critical to the integrity of the game. So its priority is very low. Either way, we'll report the idea to them again just in case.
