As to the rumors, yes, a lot have been going around. And even though you closed the topic in the forum about the Flash to Unity transfer, rumors are still flying around the chats and even in Skype groups and TeamSpeak servers. The sooner you get this topic cleared up, the better, and I do hope you decide in our favor. I have completely halted spending any money on this game, and won't be spending any more until this issue is cleared up. Many of my friends are doing the same. It's only the rational thing to do. Who would spend money on something that would be replaced/overshadowed in the next year? :rolleyes:

I must say I agree on this. It's the uncertainty and lack of reliable information that creates rumors. Though I do understand you (developers) are still unsure about this as the Unity version is still in progress.

I quite agree, and about such a serious topic. You're speaking about outraging thousands of people, as the hard earned money that they spent becomes a hindrance to them, as it'll keep them from transferring happily to the Unity version. That's if the decision is made to reset all garages.

 

Major issue is: I'm assuming that if the developers were confident that the decision was swayed toward NOT resetting garages, they would say so, in order to stop the growing lack of confidence in the game. But they have said nothing, which leads me to believe that the decision is rather swayed the other direction.

 

Tank Online, I don't care how often you say "we won't forget our players," the fact that you even considered this decision is enough to make me and many more loyal financial supporters cease spending our hard earned money on this game.

I really hope that's the reason that they didn't say "We probably will be transferring accounts over to Unity Tanki Online"

This hits the nail right on the head. There are many tankers besides myself who have worked hard to rank and build our garages and the lack of any a clear plan from the developers is beyond frustrating.

 

I have to believe that it has already been decided what the process re transferring garages will be. Afterall no one would embark on a major project without having a "plan of action" as you would be wasting time coding then recoding to make things work.

 

I'm often asked for advice by tankers (indeed I will volunteer a couple of hours most days in chat) what they should do. I can say that I will be telling anyone who asks if they should buy crystals not to do so until this issue has been fully resolved.

It would be possible. I've worked for a multi billion £ company. We aquired other companies on a regular basis. Our IT specialists could link bespoke systems to commercial systems such as SAP and they would communicate perfectly. In this case Tanki already have the base data details so coding Unity would be easy.

 

The cynical view is they do not want to take people's garages over as everyone starting with nothing gives them more chance to make players spend real money
