Open testing of Daily Missions

1150 crystals to change a mission?  This seems a bit steep and at face value is another attempt to wring crystal sales out of players.  The fee to change a mission should be nominal if not free.  Players already complain about the price of pro passes at 5000 a month, if you want to encourage participation in daily missions drop the fee for changing the mission.

It's good that TO are trying to develop new ideas but I can see Daily Missions being responsible for an influx of mult accounts which will initially be used to help players complete missions and ultimately be used rig games making honest battles harder to find.

The cost to change missions is too high. Why would I want to give you half of what I might earn just to change a mission. If I change 3 times I'm now paying Tanki. Someone better explain this to the young kids before they give all their crystals back.

That's the thing though, young kids will not get this. And as you may happen to know, young kids are the greatest majority of Tanki players. And they will not understand that by changing so many missions that they don't like, they end up LOSING big time in the end, because they don't understand basic economics, and that's when they call mommy or daddy to get their wallets.  ;)

Looks good so far but the problem is when your away for awhile like a couple of months or more and you don't log in to get your bonuses like before now we will have to complete a specific mission to get the daily gift, so in my opinion it's good and bad at the same time.

Well capturing 3 flags will be easy I'll just make a 1v1 with my mult and cap 3 flags, done.  Then next I'll kill my mult 30 times.  So now the servers will be filled with 1v1 Island battles. The 100 xp one will take a little longer. I may need to use 2 or 3 mults to speed it up.

Daily missons was a really good idea but in the real, mult infested, world of Tanki this will just be a fail.

Those flags/xp don't actually count unless there's a good amount of people in the battle, so you can't really cheat ;)

What are you talking about? I just did exactly that. Both where  1v1 battles.

Plus I went from battle to battle just grabbing double damage boxes and leaving. This will be the next problem. Players will start fighting over supply boxes and ignoring the game or taking supplies they don't really need.

Why does it take weeks and months for Tanki to come up with ideas and only minutes for many of us to find the flaws or to see the real motivation behind these ideas.  Daily missions is just another carefully disguised way for Tanki to save crystals and in some cases even make some from the people that will make the mistakes of changing missions.

Players focus will change from playing properly to completing daily missions and forget everybody else. Tanki is inadvertently encouraging even more selfish or dishonest game play.

So now they are taking advantage of young kids that are not smart enough yet to recognize what they are doing.

Well, sorry, but when I tried it, as well as someone else, it didn't work -_-

Even though only for a short time for each player. It says about ten boxes for the mission.

It takes you so short of a time to find the "real" motivation because you're only seeing what you want to see. You think that Tanki wants to ruin gameplay for all, and therefore you think that that is the purpose behind every update. How could Tanki save crystals??? Crystals mean nothing to them. It's an in-game currency, and I suggest you remember that ;)

Most of the missions are ones that actually require you to do well, so they won't really be encouraging selfish gameplay. The only one that might do so is collecting boxes, and those missions would be completed fast anyways.

I see you're one of the players who always sees the worst in updates, even when it's not there.

Great! I think it is better than Daily Missions because, the crystals are so much rare but in daily missions, 4600 crystals in 1 day!

The "real" motivation is money. It's all about crystals and crystals mean everything. Crystals represent real money. There has to be an accurate account of all crystals coming and going in the game. I don't think updates are designed to ruin game play. Updates are designed to increase profit margins and if it improves or ruins game play is secondary. Tanki is not the only game that does this. There are others that have used this same tactic and are now gone and forgotten. You don't force and trick people to pay, you provide things they want to buy freely and of their own will.

Well you are partly correct, I do see the worse in all of the latest updates however there used to be good updates.  I'm not the only one who sees it.

I hope they use Daily Missions to popularize rare maps. I am tired of seeing Rio, Noise, Polygon, Hill. The battle list is stale. Daily Missions would really help here, but sadly I am only seeing popular maps in these types of missions, which to me is heartbreaking.
