Duel Kit Distribution

A few months ago, the Kits were set up very nicely. Not OP, just a nice tank at a discount, available for nearly everyone. Now it's returned to how they used to be... overpowered (Jackhammer at Brigadier is simply ridiculous), very expensive, and once again, exclusively for buyers.

 

Now I get why this is. Tanki makes a lot of money of people buying crystals in order to buy kits. Their income dropped noticeably after those old OP kits were removed, so they had to change something. Makes sense, right?

And I understand that. Don't remove the current kit system, since it seems to be working well.

 

My idea is simply adding a seperate "tier," if you will, to the garage. We've got the OP expensive kits, now why don't we add less powerful and cheaper kits, accessible to the average tanker? No paint included, maybe later unlock. This would satisfy all tankers, and I don't see why not do it.

 

For example, Jackhammer Tier 1: M3 Viking, M3 Hammer. Unlock: [rank 24] Discount: 50%

Jackhammer Tier 2: M3 Viking, M3 Hammer, Tiger. Unlock: [rank 23]  Discount: 30%

Did you know that there are a many players who pay only when they think that its the last option...and there are many many players like this..

So why wouldnt these tankers just get the Tier1 kit?..coz a economic guy would calculate the total cost he would have to pay and would definately choose the cheaper one..

I bought an M2 kit before a while...called the "Stinger" Kit....i got it by earning my crystals...i never paid for that kit...

I would buy Heavy M3 kit if it wasn't removed, but that doesn't mean that wasn't hell expensive.

Thats what i said...buying a kit does not mean that only a buyer can buy it...other tankmen can also get it if they try..:)

Paints are not cheap. There wouldn't really be a better deal, just a cheaper one with less stuff and a more expensive one with more stuff.

Well, for example, take ur example...M3 of a hull and turret at 50%! So why would i go for the 30% one?

If i am an "Emergency" buyer, as i explained before, i would not pay money, rather buy the 50% kit and wait for a sale to get a good paint..that too of my own choice, rather than a paint imposed by a kit!

yes but that was an example it might not be the best one there could normally be a bigger difference say as instead of both M3 there was an M2 in there so M3 viking and M2 hammer without a paint or M2 combo at lower rank such as brigadier with tiger paint might be good for a tier 1 kit

Earning crystals is difficult at low ranks. So that can be applied for those low ranks as they will be able to buy the kits even though at different ranks as mentioned above the tier system to separate the kits. Nice idea :P

I agree with you but both kits should have the items unlocked at the rank Lieutenant General.

I believe that a major factor in the 'OP'ness of current kits is the mixing of tanks of different modification. Thus, I think it should be more reasonable to only allow kits containing a M(X) hull and M(X) turret to be unlocked once one has reached a rank where one can access a dual M(X) combo.

 

For example, with Jackhammer, the fact that it unlocks at Brigadier ensures that the only opposition encountered will be M2 and M1 hulls, an easy slaughter for M3 Hammer, whilst the M3 Viking can absorb many hits from M2 weapons. Thus a better unlock rank is Major General. For some other kits like Bulldozer, which only has one M3 component, I think an unlock at Colonel would be fine.

This isn't so much about the unlock rank of kits as it is for just a separate version of the kits

Light Kit was less expensive than the kit of M3 XP these days which costs about 499k

 

The light kit was M3 XP + Needle

The price was 299k..

I was so close to it

When i so close it got removed..I felt so angry!Saving from major for it..2 months :( then nothing..

 

Imagine if u saved for Redneck it then happens the same..You will feel much more annoyed. :(
