Julian Assange was arrested by Scotland Yard today so I guess we will be old news very quickly...America will take care of that :D

Btw, nothing new in those documents. Even little kids could guess a lot of the facts presented there. Now the world has the evidences and that is good if you ask me.

Speculators and the conspiracy theory adepts now have a raw material to work on ))..

 

I kinda admire him. He took the risk by unveiling to the world the true nature of politics, the dark side of mankind, the hidden secrets of our "liders".

And to think that China ordered an attack on Google just because a high-rank official found 2 or 3 critical results on him :) That's hilarious. ))

 

All the things Wikileaks revealed to the world can be summed up into this:

 

1. We are all a bunch of naive sheep lead by a hand of shepherds.

2. Once in a while we get to look at the sun for a split second and after that we whine that we are blind.

4. This has happened before. Another time, another place. The same cause somehow led to the same basic effect.

3. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

5. You can't defeat human nature.

The U.S. state department cables are not all that interesting. Crap like that goes on all the time every day regardless of whether it is politics or business. We just think they are a lot cooler because they had a "secret" and "confidential" label on them.

 

The best story / document distribution wikileaks has put together to date was the one on the climategate.
