Ideas for Missions!

I've accidentally activated my premium mission twice now, and it's an annoyance that it goes to waste. I also was paranoid that I would accidentally change my Viking XT mission when I had it. Luckily I didn't.

 

I think there need to be a notification that pops up to change and/or redeem a completed mission. There are notifications before leaving a match or buying something from the garage, so why not daily missions?

Patience is key my friend. It's not that hard to remain patient before changing or claiming a mission. Plus who would simply go ahead and hit the "Claim" or "Change" button without reading the description of the mission.

 

These pop-ups would end up being EXTREMELY annoying. Especially for those whom are looking for an XT mission, we all know that takes one good deal of clicking. Players would start giving negative thoughts on it compelling the developers to remove the update. So, it'd not be wise to implement an update which is eventually to be removed — utter waste of time.

^People no more 'hunt' for XT 'missions'. They just go to the garage and buy it. The missions are way too rare, I just got super lucky that during the fools day even i pressed the free change and got my XT.

A confirmation click after a "change mission" click is warranted.

 

When a mission is partially accomplished, it seems essential that a confirmation message must be presented for a second click.(With option to cancel, of course.)

Hey,

I dont know if anyone has said this yet, but wouldn't it be nice if you could get EXP as a reward? So for example if you collect 5 double armor boxes instead of getting 5x med kit you would get 500 EXP as a reward.

I would suggest new, cool mission types:

1. Kill flag holder

2. Kill enemy while you jump

3. Kill enemy while he is jumping

4. Multikills: kill 2 or 3 enemies during couple seconds

5. Kill with mine

6. Kill enemy who is on dd, da or speed

7. Perform a full forward or backward flip jump

8. Kill a flipped over tank

9. Finish a battle clean (without activating any drug) ;)

Some people hate some mission types (maps or game modes) and some will surely dislike the new ones so there should be 2 alternatives offered to get a reward (preferably an old and a new mission type). I hope some devs will see this and consider about it!

Rewarding players with EXP is bad for the players themselves. Thew more EXP you get without earning any crystals for it, the more difficult it will be for you to upgrade your equipment in time as you progress through ranks. If I were your rank and these EXP rewards were added, I'd change them every time.

And also, why not a supermission which gives you, say, a year of free Premium or something?

Good idea. For those players who cannot afford to play everyday or play very rarely, there should be a super mission which gives you 1 year of Premium Account for free. Some players play Tanki Online, say, once a week or month.

For new and more complex types of Daily Missions, I would suggest new, cool mission types:

1. Kill flag holder
2. Kill enemy while you jump
3. Kill enemy while he is jumping
4. Multi-kills: kill 2 or 3 enemies during couple seconds
5. Kill with mine
6. Kill enemy who is on Double Damage, Double Armor or Speed Boost
7. Perform a full forward or backward flip jump
8. Kill a flipped over tank
9. Finish a battle clean (without activating any drug)

10. Combo kills (destroy 2 or more tanks simultaneously)

11. Destroy enemy tank that is on its side.

12. Destroy enemy tank who is using a specific turret (for example, Isida)

13. Destroy enemy tank who is using a specific hull (for example, Mammoth)

13. Destroy enemy tank who is using a specific paint, (for example, Zeus)

14. Destroy enemy tank who is holding a Control Point (CP)

15. Multi-step Daily Missions

16. Monthly Mission Chains

17. Destroy enemy tank using Double Damage

18. Destroy enemy tank using Double Armor

19. Destroy enemy tank using Speed Boost

20. Destroy enemy tank using Repair Kit

21. Complete Daily Missions on all types of map, not only just, Rio, Sandbox and Tribute

I have another, yet, brilliant idea that will come to a cost. Players in battles often like to perform stunts. OK. Stunts needs to come at a prize reward too. For example, in the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, the player carries out stunts in the game and when the stunt has been successfully completed the player earns cash in return as his prize reward.

 

Tanki Online stunts must not leave players empty handed. Instead lets have a new type of Daily Mission added to the game. My plan is to also have 4 Daily Missions per day rather than 3.

 

In Tanki Online, when players perform a stunt, jumping from a ramp, landing on the roof of any building, or flipping, players will now earn crystals or supplies. The balance is 50/50% chance of earning supplies or crystals for that Daily Mission. The reward size, would of course, depend on the player's rank.

 

Daily Mission Stunt (types categories are as follows):

 

1. Ramp Stunt - Jumping from a ramp (like in Rio map).

 

2. Landing on the roof of any building - (this is a roof stunt and it gives a huge reward in supplies and crystals) - (The higher the building, the bigger the prize reward in crystals and supplies. Players do not need to take part in Parkour battles anymore. They can earn this reward straight away in regular battle modes.

 

3. Flipping - Players will earn crystals or supplies if they perform a flip stunt. The prize reward in crystals or supplies shall only be given to players if they successfully land on their tracks. If players land upside down or on their side the reward will not be given to them.

 

That is it. I hope you like my new idea. I really hate to see those poor players complete stunts without having a Daily Mission Stunt for rewarding them in crystals or supplies.

Hey Riddler! Thanks for promoting the ideas! Is there any chance of a dev responsible for the game will ever see this? I hope.. I think it's enough to give them hints about the ideas, and let them work out the details. I'm sure these are ideas worth considering, but some could be a hell of an effort programming down, esp. those stunt ones. People would enjoy the missions a lot more and could even learn new skills to improve their efficiency! Just need to take into account that how these missions would affect gameplay, for example it would be a nightmare to fight for a win while my teammates are only trying to climb a skyscraper :)

Because no matter what you like to play with, you can still kill enemies/collect boxes/earn XP on a map/capture flags and so on. If stunt missions are added, it will put some players at a disadvantage if they don't have the right equipment to complete the missions.

Well, I forgot to mention in my post, that players have a disadvantage for completing stunts, if they do not have the right equipment. For players to perform Daily Mission Stunts they have to use Wasp or Hornet to jump far enough to perform a stunt.

 

In addition to that, any turret and paint will do fine.

I find it crazy that I am agreeing with Riddler here, but not all of his ideas have that drawback- in fact, only a few do. The kill the flag holder or enemy on drugs, etc can be completed by anyone, with any equipment.

 

To extend on Riddler's idea, I would suggest that the reward for the more specific missions be higher (especially if it is a kill an enemy with a certain paint). That would make it more worthwhile to pursue the missions.

Hi like DM is a good update so how about this idea:

If a player did all his mission he could be able yo buy 3 missions cost of 1k . Player can only buy 3 more missions only(as we get).
