Ideas for Missions!

I don't Know if this has been suggested before.  I think that there should be a "play as mission" where you would have to play for a certain amount of time with a specific Hull or Turret.

New Daily Mission:

Earn Experience points in battle 0/99999

Reward: Frost Paint

Destroy Enemies 0/9999

Reward: Golden Star

 

O.o Nice isn't it? This Mission would be 10% less rarer than XT missions

My idea is simple, with a simple motive benefitting both devs as well as the players.

Why not increase the weekly daily missions chain reward if the player has completed ALL the missions he got-3 missions everyday? this will act as both a source of income for players, AND help the motive of devs - getting players to spend more time in the game, as it gives players an incentive. It might not have to be necessarily an increase in the weekly reward. a small daily reward might be given too immediately after u finish all 3 missions. and ofc, let me tell u just in case u have a doubt: this is NOT affected by u changing missions. as total u should finish all 3 missions, regardless of  whether u changed the missions or not.

ANOTHER problem players might point out is this: what do we do when we get super missions like earn 99999 exp or make 9999 kills (BTW these 2 are the ONLY super missions)? well, there are 2 solutions:

 

1)   The player in question can be given the reward, though lessened, for doing 2 missions/day only. y a lessened             reward? because simple - u didn't have to do 3 missions. so less work, less reward.

 

2)   players can simply sacrifice the extra reward for doing all 3 missions. WHY!? cuz you wouldn't get anything                 currently. but at least if this update is rolled out, u get something sometimes right! and this problem is gonna be         faced by a minority. only gissimos get these missions, and out of them only few do anyway. 

 

3)   devs are genius, they can figure out something i guess  :ph34r:

I really like this idea.  It seems like it would be easy to implement and really would motivate players to stay in the game more.    There are many times I finish of one mission and quit for the day..and this would still be my prerogative.  But, I would certainly finish all three missions within the day if there were a little extra kick for completing that 3rd mission...even something small like 5-10 crystals per rank...or an appropriate number of supplies accordng to rank.

I like your ideas but for super missions Generalissimos must earn crystals only.

 

Legend players should have super missions with even bigger crystal rewards.

 

Generalissimos Super Missions:

 

Earn Experience points in battle 0/99999 - Reward: 200,000 crystals

 

Destroy 0/9999 enemy tanks - Reward 100,000 crystals

 

Legend Super Missions:

 

Earn Experience points in battle 0/99999 - Reward: 400,000 crystals

 

Destroy 0/9999 enemy tanks - Reward 200,000 crystals

 

Since the paint separation update and onwards everything has become increasingly more expensive, so players now need super missions that only reward them with crystals and the crystal rewards must be bigger too.

 

There is no balance between prices in the garage and the amount of crystals that players earn in battles and super mission.

 

Please consider my idea and add it into "Under Review" for a brilliant update that will help players a lot on earning more crystals to buy and micro upgrade equipment.

3. How about classify all maps into "small" "Medium-small" "Medium-large" and "Large" based on size? Then the missions could go:

"Earn experience on Small Map" or "Earn Experience on Large map."  This would encourage players to play on maps they normally don't because of their combination, and become more experienced fighting in hostile terrain and learning to adapt.

 

The rewards wouldn't be that big, less then normal.

They've also removed maps small capacity maps like Duel. Why? If you force players to play high capacity maps, there's a very high chance they'll be thrown in with a load of druggers and as a result players will use their supplies quicker....if they don't they will get killed and become frustrated. This idea of frustrating F2P players is Tanki's way of pushing them towards buying supplies and PRO Battle Passes.

 

At the end of the day, Tanki is not interested in making TO better or listening to feedback or ideas. It's interested in making $$$, keeping things ticking with TO but investing their future in Tanki-X. Yes, Tanki wants to get rid of F2P players all together, they offer nothing to the bottom line but they are necessary to it's survival.

 

I think before there were approx up to 8 maps on rotation. If they autogenerated these same maps and made them permanent across all servers, then mission maps would be achievable for F2P players (providing you could find an available slot). Obviously slots would go pretty quick so players may have to wait but  if they didn't want to wait they can always....buy a PRO Battle Pass.

 

The one I really struggle with is the 1st place mission. Of all the missions, since the update this one has become a lot harder. Generally on the high capacity maps filled with druggers, it can be a real challenge to get 1st place.

Actually this one is the easiest for me. All that I need is to be in a battle from the start and I'm good. :)

 

The hardest missions for me are the supply-box ones or the flag ones. Since I have a PRO pass I try to find PRO battles with one or two players so that I can cap flags and get boxes. I usually ask them to "no-kill" so we can both complete our missions. However, sometimes they leave, or more players join, or they start firing at you.

 

In standard battles the box collection missions are near impossible, unless I mult and park in a drop zone with Mammoth. :P

My point was that it's much harder without a PRO Battle Pass now, of course it's not too difficult with a PBP.

I'm not so sure what's difficult about picking up supplies, if you know the dropzone locations on the map? Is that a confession to multing? ;)

Because you have to be in the drop zone at the exact time when the supply drops, making sure you don't die before or someone else takes it. Collecting 5 boxes of the same type is hard for me, especially since I don't play that much per day.

There's a couple of things you can do that might help you. Choose a large map that has a lot of supply drop location points, choose a light hull to get around and collect quickly and join at the start of a game (when it's a level playing field). Good luck :)

Mission Insanity 0/3

 

Join a loosing team.

(From minute 10 to 5)

 

Reward:

 

Get 50% more crystals.

2 Repair Kits

8 Double Damage

I don't like the rewards, they don't have to be specific but randomly generated. 50% more crystals is too much, because you will get more than the players on the winning team, and if its a close battle with large fund, thats thousands in profit.

 

HOwever, the principle is GREAT! :) I hope they implement the "join a loosing team" mission.

 

Oh wait.....it doesn't really fit in with the battle button.....BUt great idea! :)

Actually Destroy Enemies mission always has more reward than Earn Experience. Well I don't like the idea, missions are just a bonus not a bank.

Why not a mission that encourages users to use supplies?

 

Example: "Use 'X' Double Damage supplies"

 

It would be like the collect boxes missions, and would range from 3 to 10. 

 

I don't see how the mission would be bad.
