Ideas for Missions!

So, why not add exp missions? It would be like kill 100 players for 1000 exp in dm battles (or other battles) etc.

Because Tanki works in a way that makes it a bad thing to gain experience without gaining crystals.

I find that I really enjoy playing TO when I'm trying to do a mission. You can't make the missions harder/longer because often I have very little time to play, and am under a time crunch. I also find that I spend much more time in game when under multiple accounts, because the upgrade/skill level varies and adds variety.

How about 6 missions daily, including one super easy one incase I am busy IRL and need to maintain my mission chain in 60 seconds:

 

These would be shuffled around, no more than 4 displayed per day, and non overlapping*

-1000 exp CTF

-500 exp TDM

-300 exp CP

-300 exp DM

-750 ¢rystals total

-500 ¢rystals/mode

-250 ¢rystals/mode

 

This is the easy one

-X number of pickups

 

And this is the last one, a harder mission that you could reasonably expect a player to spend a couple hours/days completing

-250 & 500 kills 

-1, 2, 3, and 5 flags captured (please just use sense and make it flags handled, like TX, I can play for 5 or 6K exp in CTF without capping a flag) 

-20, 30, 40, & 50 points captured

-finishing first once, twice, thrice (I would prefer you make it finish in top5 or top3, so hard to fin first.

 

This gives us 6 missions (ranked easiest to hardest)

-x pickups

-300XP

-250¢rystals

-500XP

-1000XP

-1 of the hard ones described above.

 

Those missions will keep players busy, challenged, rewarded, and in the game. In case I have 8 minutes before serve restart to do a mission, I can grab boxes. If its the weekend or after work/school, I can play 3 or 4 matches. 

 

*non-overlapping: No duplicate EXP or crystals missions in the same mode, preventing a 500xp CTF, 250 ¢ CTF, and 500¢ battles: those type of missions are able to be completed at the same time, limiting attention spans and in game time

Legends and Generalissimo have SUPER Missions.

If they completed the mission halfway and accidentally changes it, it is very disheartening.

If there is a way to lock the SUPER Mission such that it cannot be clicked, It will be great!

if you click it you will be prompted to lock mission. once you lock, you cant change it until you finish it.

Change/remove 1st place missions

 

Not everyone can get them. It'd make much more sense if you could land in the top 3 to do the mission instead.

I heard that once MM is released the 1st place missions will actually be turned into "top 3". So you were spot on there :)

Maybe they could implement this nice "top 3" mission update at the same time they merge the servers. :ph34r:

The finish 1st in battles mission is unnecessary because they are sometimes hard for players in big battles to accomplish them. To make it a bit more challenging and interesting lets replace with a finish 3rd or higher mission.

 

Here are the crystals reward which I suggest for Legend players for the finish 3rd or higher.

 

1. Finish 3rd place = Reward 3000 crystals

 

2. Finish 2nd place = Reward 4000 crystals

 

3. Finish 1st place = Reward 5000 crystals

 

There can be only one crystal reward, but the higher you finish, the more crystals you earn for that mission.

I am not happy at all that the developers removed the ability for players to complete their daily missions (especially super missions) in pro battles. However, I do agree that the removal of mission completion in private battles was used for power levelling, so private battles don't grow fund, no gold boxes, and now behave like parkour battles.

 

Please add the ability to complete daily missions and super mission in pro battles once again (excluding private battles).

Please keep the x3 daily mission chains weekly bonus rewards as they are now. I have noticed that I can save up a good amount of crystals due to the x3 mission chains weekly bonus rewards and that the game's economy is not affected in any way.

Please keep the X3 mission chain rewards permanently in Tanki Online.

Tanki's economy is perfectly balanced out with the X3 mission chain rewards. Now players earn good rewards like they should normally do.

Whats the point of adding these high rewarded missions like make 99k xp for hornet XT and so on if after 2 years u made this weird changes in missions that made 70% of the players skip or dont even do those missions. A very negative point is if u waste like 1k druggs for that mission u get like 900 DD and 300 repairs which abolutely makes no sense. Even if u want to finish these missions u have to play 10h a day for a month to complete it.

60% in tanki are playing pro battles. After this update i released that after 2 months 20k players already left 2 months later i saw only 30kplayers and a year ago i saw 75k players. This update changed tanki history to a negative dissaster

Maybe you could add "Kill 15 enemies with Thunder" (any single weapon) Do you know what I mean? :)

I've said this twice now, but what if you have all turrets M3 except Thunder, which is M0? Is it fair to get a mission like this in such a scenario?
