Ideas for Missions!

I think developers are intentionally not adding JGR missions, since it's a unique game mode with a niche player base. Some people love it, but the majority hate it and never play it, so it would be wrong to force that majority to play JGR for missions.

Aw ok but Hate why do you not like Juggernaut? And adding Daily Missions for this Mode would increase the number of people who play it, maybe even liking it more. And also, at least Juggernaut will load faster all the time whenever I want to play it..!!

When I get missions I don't like I usually don't play, and I don't like Jug.

 

But I understand that some like it, so I suggested before that Missions for DM also works for Jug.

 

They could just rename Jug to Deathmatch Something and that's it.

Idk about him. But the reason why I don't like juggernaut is because weapons like striker, freeze, smoky, firebird, and hammer can do better there than other weapons.

They could just rename Jug to Deathmatch Something and that's it.

Kinda like Issimo said, just let us do DM missions in JGR.

Nah, not Smoky, Striker is just the worst though; it makes Juggernaut so vulnerable!  :angry:

Actually smoky with auto cannon, cryo rounds, or incendiary rounds can be more dangerous to juggernaut than you might think.

Yep. It used be Freeze squad up together and kill the J-Boss. Now.... it's plagued with Striker Cyclone. In fact I feel bad for the Juggernaut and don't want to kill him/her. The only time I become the Juggernaut nowadays is when he/she self-destruct and the system picked me as the next one.

 

And I only last 5 seconds.

That's a bad approach to game design. If something is unpopular, it means there's a good reason for that. So instead of forcing people to go there when they don't actually like the mode (by adding JGR missions, increasing funds or whatever else), devs should solve the cause of the problem - for example by increasing Juggernaut's initial health or by nerfing Striker and/or drones or alterations in that mode.

I already suggested something like that , but the idea got lost somewhere in the "ideas for juggernaut" topic

 

my idea was that DM missions work in juggernaut mode.

 

some people liked it and some people didn't, though I don't know why anyone would go against an idea that harms no one and benefits many.

YES man that would be an awesome idea!!!!!

I have Incendiary Smoky. It deals tremendous damage, unprotected enemy without RK has no chance. Incendiary Vulcan and Uranium Striker are also incredibly strong.

 

Juggernaut needs to have bonus Fire and Striker protection because 2 biggest problems for Juggernaut are salvos and afterburn.

Are daily missions coordinated?

 

The more players there are in any given mode, the shorter the wait time. It would be in TO’s best interest to have the daily mission objectives be in common game modes; i.e. one day, the missions are heavily weighted towards CTF and DM missions; the next day, players mostly get CP or TDM missions, or RGB or Assault or whatever. If the majority of players have the same daily mission objectives on the same day, then they will all play the same game modes, increasing the number of players in those fewer modes, and the wait times will be shorter.
I don’t know if this is already implemented though...

but for now missions don't change if you don't complete them.. 

so if i don't complete an earn "1500 score in CTF" in one day... the next day i can't complete it because i will have nobody to play with ???

But then if players just want to play a different game mode, they will struggle to get into a battle due to long waiting times. I doubt this would work well - best to keep it randomised.

If there were 1,000 players trying to get into CTF to do missions and you're player number 989 in the queue, how long would it take you to get into that battle mode? I'm too lazy to do the math.

Not sure what you mean here. If there are 30 players in a queue, they would be put into 2 separate battles within a few seconds. If there are 1000 players, they would all be put into 63 separate battles within a few seconds.
