Ideas for Missions!

hmmm, I'm gonna say, no, I don't see why the shaft, who hasn't moved, the entire game should get a little bonus, because an ally did all the work on the other side of the map, but in the question of, if an isida who followed the flag-attacker through the enemy base, using it's own drugs and overdrive to fight off the enemy defenders, should that player get a little bonus? even though they didn't directly pick up a flag, that's another debate to have.

Why can't teams randomly have missions-like if every player moves the flag-the whole teams gets extra reward?

Maybe if everyone on the team gets 6 kills the teams gets a reward.

 

This can be generated randomly to sometimes give 'team missions'.

If everyone on the team does the required amount on their own-the whole team gets a bonus.

Each player will have to move the flag-or get 5 kills-on their own!

The shaft should also have to move the flag or get 6 kills, or reach the enemy base.

 

This is not Communism!

I now play on lower ranked accounts and have been for several months because of the toxic updates.  I recently tried my higher ranked account to play with the new ODs.  I have gotten much much worse at playing...I can't even come close to competing.  It's almost like I die BEFORE I spawn in.  It's just death after death after death.  Many times I can't even pop a DA or get one shot off.  I played about 20 battles and now have 6 stars, yeah, 6.  Not long ago I was a top player, always in the top three or four.  Now, I struggle to make 70 points in a battle.  

 

The point of this is "15 top"  is impossible for me now...not like this mission will take me a long time like a super mission, it's litterally impossible and I will never complete it.  That doesn't seem right at all and seems detrimental and certainly discouraging for me and probably many other players.

 

One possible solution might be to let coming in on the losing team in the top two count for this extremely difficult mission.

Yes. I get top 3 on the losing team more than when I am on the winning team.

This is not Communism!

if everyone moves the flag? That sounds impossible, and 6 kills? Sounds like way to little.

no xD I agree with you, I'm studying economics right now at the college level, and I love free markets. What I think is wrong about this idea is that it would be better for the person at the bottom of the roster (who contributed the least to the team) to not get a bonus, for being last, they should see that at least second-to-last pays better, so they aim their sights for a higher, and higher place each time. A  small paying last place is meant to encourage them to better themselves, so they don't get a small pay, while helping their team. If they added a bonus for the sake of being last place, some players wont bother to play better, and wont bother to help their team, in order to stay low.

How about some Laizest Fairest, you get what you work for.

Follow up from my other idea if it got through, but I think daily challenges should give stars. Like 3 or 5, while weekly challenges give 10 or 15.

Wait, do you mean as the sole reward-or with the additional crystals/supplies ?

You think it is Impossible for everyone on the team to move the flag-for 50% bonus or extra 200 crystals?

if that was in the game, that would neglect and put defenders at a disadvantage, and heavy hulls in general, as well as team misconduct if everyone is fighting over their chance to pick up the flag.

It sounds good, but Its my personal opinion that it should only be as an in-battle thing, 

Doesn't Tanki do the challenges specifically so players play more. Missions are supposed to get players to play every day, no?

So how would this help Tanki-if they get stars for playing once a day-they wouldn't need to play as much for stars.

Unless Tanki would think that once they give you a few stars each day-you would want to get more.

Maybe?

You may be good at the game and because of that you're always at the top of the results.

 

Many aren't that good for different reasons, little kids, Tanki Mobile, slow connection and so on. That doesn't mean you're better than then by the way, after all you're addicted to the game too.

Ayy! We're one of the best players, always finishing in the top four in a team. Plus, the crystal income of an average tanker gets tripled due to additional rewards.

We got a lot of bonuses just because the developers thought we would play for like 10 to 15 minutes. And now we're exploiting that. :P

The other spot you need to remember is that it is quite possible to be the difference between winning and losing on a team, get absolutely hammered, and manage to get NO kills. Especially if you head out in your M2 into M3 battles.... you take the heaviest hull you can find, the best armour you can, but you still don't have the firepower to knock people down.... your team "steals" your kills, or you're just unlucky.  Yet you can watch the sway of battle change because you're able to suck up enough damage for everyone else to last that bit longer.

With the main rewards. Personally, I think missions should be crystals only as the main reward. We already get more than enough supplies from the challenges and the weekly containers.

Fair point however, the goal of 1750 stars is unreachable unless you literally play for 6+ hours a day which is unhealthy. In fact I think they should make stars required for progression to be the same with every tier. I think 15 stars to tier up is a fair amount.

Yeah, you are right. Once Tanki started selling stars, they don't really care that its impossible-

 

 the goal of 1750 stars is unreachable unless you literally play for 6+ hours a day 

Now that you can't get through all the ranks you have to buy.

So no one would fight over the flag-since they have to let EVERYONE on their team move the flag, or they also get NOTHING from the bonus.

So why wouldn't you just give it to your next teammate?

Is it SO BAD if everyone needs to just touch the flag, and then drop it?

Because the point is not to pick up the flag, the point is to CAPTURE it! I wouldn't give it to my next teammate, you crazy? I would try to capture it, I thought that was the point.
 
And yeah sure, you solved the problem right there, "lets all use light hulls" when OUR job WE want to do, and do best is defending, among other things, and yeah, if we like heavy, we totally didn't divert all our crystals to heavy hulls, the ones we like best. And we totally know how to use light hulls, aside from the fact we're been using heavys for a majority of the time, I dunno why... oh yeah, its because we like them, and even if we don't "contribute" to picking up a flag uselessly, we do our own jobs.
 
the "Everyone doing X" mission will almost never work, theres going to be that one troll that won't do X on purpose, than there's me, who won't do X as its not my job.

We don't need battery!

 

Please, I don't need battery in daily missions. Whay should I do with battery if I don't have drones, and I don't wanna buy drones never?

 

In daily missions I need crystals and supplies; nothing more.

Today I have for all mission just battery. For today, all daily missions do not help me.

Out with battery. I hate drones.

I understand your frustration, but just save up the batteries for now. Eventually you'll be able to buy and upgrade drones, and at that point the batteries will come in really useful.

Drones give you an advantage in battle with no downside. There is no reason not to use drones

For lower ranks cost is an issue.  Buy and upgrade a drone then you are missing on something else like modules or MUs to equipment.

And they really don't have a big stock-pile of batteries yet either.

I'm the same rank as you and I hate drones because they're a pay to win scam that don't even provide a significant advantage except for the mine drone. And what the OP poster said is true; for a non-drone user, batteries are completely useless other than taking up a potential spot where some useful drugs could have been.
